If you are 'southern' you can watch Leyton Orient v Hartlepool for £5 , if you are 'Northern' , sitting in the same stand you have to pay £24 ..... not right I think you will agree ...

At least your fans got in for a fiver at Blackpool. It's full price for us when we go there in a couple of weeks.

When we have offers , Barnet coming up for example , we extend it to the away fans ..... its the principle for me ....if Orient were playing a team from Africa , would they charge more for visiting foreighn fans ? ....

With all of their problems they are obviously trying to get as many home fans in as possible.

£24 for a bottom of League 2 clash is scandalous though.

Corrected it for you.

I have no idea what we're doing or what we're charging because fuck you Becchetti. Is this a one off promotion for the game? E.g. it's only applicable to the Hartlepool game or is it two games for a tenner? Or?

Pretty sure if it's a one off game for the same facilities the club can not charge away fans more than home fans?

Edit: Nevermind, found it: http://www.leytonorient.com/news/article/2016-17/pools-ticket-offer-3624842.aspx

BRB doing some research.

EDIT: Scrap everything I just said.

34.2.11 Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters provided always that each Club shall be permitted to designate four (4) Matches per Season as ‘local promotion’ Matches where this Regulation shall be deemed not to apply. Clubs shall notify The League of the Matches so designated as and when they are designated.

What an absolute farcical rule. Sorry mate. That's a bit off that.

Newport did something similar when we played them. £10 for home fans but £20 for the away end.

Rule should be changed.

Yeah I agree. Us southerners have to put up with absurd house prices and paying £5 per pint. It's about time northerners contributed properly to our economy.

Is it still £25 to get in at Hartlepool? If it is I don't blame them as they're fans would of had to pay that. Football at all levels is an absolute joke. £20+ to watch L2 football, And instead of them doing anything about matters like this all they're bothered about is the fucking waste of space competition Shaun Harvey has 'reinvented'. The fucking scrotum.

We had similar away at Oldham a season or two back - fiver for the home fans behind the goal one side of the mesh, and about £24 for us the other side of the mesh. I can understand it (only a little) when it's going to be a big away following, but when there's about 100 away fans tops then it wouldn't be hard to extend the goodwill a tiny bit.

It is the same price for all at Pools
....the 25 quid was also for home fans without a season ticket ... it went down like a lead balloon and was removed after 1 season

You've kinda missed the point about why people are arsed about it at all, they're charging one set of fans £5 and another set of fans £24 to sit in the same seats in the same stand, it's why people are annoyed, I personally don't give a shite, even paying a fiver to watch us away from home seems extortionate.

No clubs do offers for the opposition as far as I was aware.

I know Notts County did something like a fiver and a pie or something against us for home fans.

We've done 3 buy 1 get 1 free offers (not much use for away fans) so i think we all do it.

Completely agree, to us, Exeter and Pompey you are northern, so you should pay more.

Oh, thanks for funding London 2012, much appreciated.

But I do agree £20 plus for league 2 is not value for money.

When we did the £7 games a year or two ago we extended that to away fans aswell. Recall Hartlepool once doing a £10 offer in the season when Ronnie kept them up and that was made £10 for our fans too.

I can remember benefiting from a few offers as an away fan - certainly Hartlepool and Morecambe (possibly more than once). I seem to remember that rules were tighter in the Conference, in that there were fewer, if any, exceptions allowed for "only home fan" offers.
