Big BIG week for us, with these, Boro, and Wolves to play!

Thorne is back in training and McClaren has today said Martin could also play a role after being ruled out earlier in the week.

Still don't give us a chance though.

Norwich 3-0 Derby

Would be absolutely delighted with that, as would all of our promotion rivals. Not happening though.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Also reckon score draw, which would be nice but it's genuinely what I reckon.

Dependent on how much Martin and Thorne can play, without them I would say a loss but with them we could get something...

Not looking forward to this one. Rip off ticket costs and a god awful drive to get there.

I'd snap anyone's hands off for a point!

I'm already half way there so only an hour and a half's driving for me.

I think every Derby fan would take a point after our last 3 results and the continued absence of Martin, sounds like he's gagging to be involved mind.
Think there will be plenty of goals, 3-2 Norwich.

Norwich fans, where's best on a night out? Decent bars/clubs?

Pretty confident we'll get the job done tomorrow. I'll say 2-1. We've risen to the challenge in the real big games recently.

Head towards the Tombland area of Norwich. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Carrow Road. Plenty of late night bars in and around there.

Think you're all really silly to write off your chances because of a couple of missing players. This is the CHAMPIONSHIP, anything goes. Fucking Wigan won here ffs and they only attacked once during the whole stupid game.

Reckon it'll be a very close game with neither side wanting to mess up. Really could go either way, I can't call it. All I can see is Super Chris coming on to score a last minute winner/equaliser.

We are absolutely screwed! :fl:

Grant; Shotton, Keogh, Albentosa, Forsyth; Hanson, Hughes, Hendrick; Ince, Ward, Russell

No Thorne and Martin. Eustace and now Mascarell injured, so we put some kid in for his first ever start. Seriously...

Hanson on his debut, striaght from the corner! Could be an own goal from the keeper.

EDIT: Yeah, Ruddy own goal.

Finishes 1-1 somehow. An excellent point.

Norwich had 4 very good chances after we equalised. Two great saves by Grant, one just over the bar from Jerome, and Johnson skied one from 5 yards that should have been a tap in.

Bit of luck for once.

Another team comes to Carrow Road, does nothing for 90 minutes and leaves with points. I just don't understand why our home record is so bad. :dk:

For almost an hour, it was all rather comfortable. We didn't dominate as such but we had the lead and deserved it, Derby didn't really offer any attacking threat. Turning point seemed to be Tettey's head collision. McClaren must have said something while he was getting treatment because when play resumed they were doing a much better job of pressing us higher up the pitch which made us incredibly sloppy and nervous in possession. Derby hadn't looked like scoring but looked buoyed by that. Then our defence just fell apart: first Russ attempted a dodgy back pass that could've gone in, then Bass gave Ince too much room with Ruddy spilling the resultant shot and then that corner. Finished strongly but just couldn't put away one of our chances. Frustrating but not a disaster.

Re: the goal, I don't blame Ruddy for it. Watched a replay frame by frame and he's struggling to get his left arm free when the ball is coming in, then when giving up on freeing it instead trying to keep the ball out with his right hand, he is freed and so loses his balance thus ends up juggling the ball into the goal. Think most 'keepers would struggle to save that one-handed and off-balance. Difficult to see in real time and even harder live so I wouldn't criticise the officials (Jerome is stood in the way as well which wouldn't have helped their vision). A little frustrating given the protection 'keepers usually get but just one of those things.

Ah well, I'd have taken a point beforehand. Disappointing but we move on.

We didn't do much and came for the draw, but it was an important point to get. Must have felt massive for Hanson, I was a bit worried when I saw he was starting in such a big occasion, but he did well apparently.

Hopefully with players coming back soon we can just crawl over the line.

Not one of our best days, didn't help to lose Mascarell and have to play our Under 21 centre back in CDM.

Norwich were really good throughout and totally deserved the three points. That's twice this season now!

Johnny Russell had his work cut out today, he's looked alright up top on his own against Fulham, Brighton and Brum but today was a step up too far. Didn't have any joy at all against much better defenders. We didn't even create one chance, was pretty poor all round.

Would have taken a point beforehand so I'm happy. Desperately need some players back.
We're just about hanging in this race...
