I think we'll get something out of it. I'll say 1-1, but either team winning also wouldn't surprise me.
There are a few games like that in the Premier League this weekend. Leicester v Spurs, Watford v Southampton.. wouldn't want to put money on the outcome of any of them.
Think we'll nick a 1-0. Probably a good time to be playing Stoke. They'll be a good team if they can get everyone gelled so playing them before they can do that could play into our hands.
I can't believe we didn't put at least one of our second-half chances away today. We're sitting on 4 points after three games, but after the Palace controversy and the missed opportunities in front of goal today, it really should be at least 7.
Quite optimistic for this season after these first three fixtures. We've played well for the majority of all three of those matches. A couple of additions by the end of the window and we should be in decent shape to have an enjoyable season.
Really should have won that. Great game from Butland but we should have scored a second.
Robbie Brady is starting to look like a really good signing. Looks like he's settled in straight away and think he'll only get better when Olsson comes back and he can play in a more advanced area.
Usually dread Norwich-Stoke games but both teams actually played football so it was very enjoyable. Started slowly but the first half was generally even. 1-1 about right at HT. Second half though was insane. We had so many chances to go ahead but a mixture of poor finishing and amazing goalkeeping cost us. Was convinced Stoke would get a late winner to punish us but the expected siege never came. On another day this game probably sees 8+ goals scored.
I'd have taken a draw before the game so not too disappointed. Feel we should have more than four points, easily had enough clear cut chances to have won all three games. A bit of a worry that we're not taking them (on the flip side at least we're creating chances). Encouraging performances though. A couple of signings away from surviving comfortably.
