We really should win this, hopefully Payet replicates his form after not playing great against Liverpool until he setup the goal. Anyway, I'm going for 2-0 with goals from Antonio and Payet.
Great news concerning Dimitri Payet too as he's signed a new extended contract which keeps him at the club until 2021
EDIT: original link didn't work, this one does.
I'm so happy about that, although it really shouldn't have been in any doubt. Even if we sold him for 40 million we wouldn't be able to get anyone anywhere near as good as was the case with Bale and Suarez.
I've had us down for a while but, even after throwing away a two-goal lead AGAIN, I feel a bit better after today. We went back to how we were playing before Neil lost his identity (how we should have been playing all season) and looked much better for it. Sure disappointing to let it slip again but plenty of positives to take, for a change. Bring Tettey back in and then stick with that team and approach. Need stability if we're to have any chance.
West Ham fans let themselves down. "Adam Johnson, he's one of your own!" What? Fucking hell. The incest chants are boring and unoriginal but at least there's a reason, no matter how flawed, for them.
To be completely honest I'm not sure why we sung that. I enjoyed it a lot today as it's not often that we come from 2-0 down. I thought the game was lost at 2-0 as we seemed to have no ambition, however, brining on Carroll and Moses really changed the game for us and we were unlucky not to win it. Another good away day following West Ham!
A good come back from being 2-0 down with Payet getting the first and setting up Nobel for the second, we seemed to get better the longer the game went on, a couple of good substitutions bringing Carroll & Moses on at the right time, all in all I'm happy with the point which takes us to the 40 mark.
