A fairly important game for both of us in 7th and 8th, and realistically the only 2 teams who look like they can break into the play off picture.

We come off a clinic 4-1 away win at Huddersfield, whilst Norwich had an equally impressive 3-2 win away to Charlton. Although there are only two points separating us both, Norwich have a massive 21 goal difference swing over us, which shows the quality they have of disposing of opposition, whilst the majority of Wolves' victories this season have been by the odd goal.

As for the game itself I think it'll be entertaining, but we'll lose 3-2. Our front line of Afobe, Dicko, Sako, Edwards, Henry and Van La Parra seems to have gelled more and more in recent weeks, and think they can cause Norwich some problems, but I think their front line will be too much for us.

This has all the potential to be a great game. I'm quite confident. We tend to be our own worse enemies and this tends to be against teams we should beat. When the team believe they have the game won then mistakes happen and teams score. I saw something the other day that said we had had the least chances against us but that the majority of these chances go in which just goes to show that we make silly lapses of concentration now and then.

Norwich 2-1 Wolves

Another huge game. Both teams need to win, because the Top 6 just aren't dropping many points at the moment. We need 3 points just to stay in touch.

I think we'll be OK. 3-1 to Norwich.

Don't see us winning (... there's a surprise!) We can play ok for the most part of a game but we have one or two mistakes in us a game and every single one leads to a goal. It's quite remarkable really. Charlton on Tuesday. 2-0 up and in complete control - they didn't have single shot in the first half... then out of nowhere it's 2-2. We've got away with against the poorer sides in the division recently, I doubt Wolves will let us off so easily.

Better team in the first half and deserve the lead but our defence looks more than capable of imploding and allowing easy goals as ever.

Grabban continues his revival under Alex Neil. 2-0. Wolves have looked much better this half as well.

Really though Wolves would offer more than this. Been very comfortable in the end.

That was easily one our best performances of the season, and very comfortable in the end. Johnson, Tettey, Hooper, Grabban, Martin and Bassong were all class today.

From what I hear we were awful, Norwich fully deserve their win, to be honest even if we played well I couldn't see us getting anything from here. Realistically were not good enough to be challenging for the play off positions in this division, for this year anyway.

I feel we are very weak in midfield compared to the top teams in this league and again it showed today. Price and Evans don't really cut at this level for me, and McDonald looks a shadow of the midfield powerhouse he was last season (all be it in League 1). It sounds very harsh, and maybe it is. Finishing in the top half would be a solid season for us and would give us some much needed stability after a few years of going up and down divisions. It can just be frustrating after getting close and knowing that if we made 1 or 2 solid additions to our squad we could be serious about our chances.

A lot more comfortable than I expected. Neil got the balance between attack and defence just about right. Too many times this season we've had countless chances, wasted them and then conceded sloppy goals to our opponent's only shot(s). There weren't many clear-cut chances yesterday but we pretty much controlled the game from start to finish and were mostly solid defensively.

Decent performances all round really. Think Johnson is infinitely better on the left, actually resembles a footballer there. Tettey was my motm. Shame about his dodgy knee because he should be the first name on our team-sheet every week. Bassong also proving that when he's got his head screwed on, he's comfortably our best defender. Thought he was very good, that pass to Olsson was perfection. Only player I'd say that had a bad game was Howson and even then, positionally he was decent just his passing let him down. (Also remain unconvinced by Whittaker but that'll probably never change).

Jerome (14), Hooper (9), Grabban (9), Johnson (8)... we could end the season with four players in double figures. Wonder when the last time that happened was. Can only think of times 3 players scored 10+ goals - Holt/Martin/Wes in League One and possibly Holt/Jackson/Wes in our last Championship season?

Decent start for Alex Neil. First seven games: W5 D1 L1. Some are getting carried away, guess some people will never learn (did the same after the first seven games when Neil Adams had the same record, we then went on to win just 2 of of our next 12). Some really tough games coming up Watford (a), Blackburn (a), Town (h).
