Happily I was wrong.

Watched the North Leigh vs Wimborne match in the Southern Lg today, and the one notable thing was to laugh at the self proclaimed Wimborne Massive with its 3 members and a drum.

We were pretty good, bit open at the back, Peterborough were ok for a while and then went to absolute shit, we should have been 4 or 5 up, yet somehow made it a nervy ending for ourselves, good win to keep the playoff dream alive, although I think it's too much of an ask for us this season

We are utter crap. No passion, no leadership and clueless tactics. How Oxford didn't win by 6 or 7 i'll never know. The alarming thing is our best player is a striker on loan that can't get into Luton's side.

Two positives came from todays result and that was Mackail-Smith getting his 100th goal for the club and Lopes getting sent off. It's a shame the ref didn't make his red for violent conduct because then he could be banned for two games instead of just one.

Weird old game. Thought we were the better team by a fair margin but Posh forced Eastwood into a string of fine saves. In the home fixture, some of the one-touch attacking movement by Posh was a step above. That'd all gone today and there was a fair bit of long ball in the first half. Looked like a bit of a step back.

Taylor the 10 was excellent on the ball. A lot of your early pressure came because the 3 pushed right up and Hall didn't track him. When maguire swapped sides we started to turn the tables. Bostwick and the keeper stood out as being pretty bad.

A weird feeling at the game. Like the home supporters were struggling to get behind their club. I didn't hear a single song, and I am not one to habitually claim such things. You're not having that bad a season!

Oh and as for the sending off, classic Oxford. Keep the ball and take the piss with a two goal margin and the other team will always lash out.

There's a lot of apathy towards the club at the minute. We've lost 10 of the last 14, the managers tactics are rubbish and the football is boring. Add to that season ticket prices have just gone up for the majority of people and are starting to have had enough. Out of 8 of us that stand around me only 1 has got a season ticket for next year and our gates could rival Fleetwood. We go to games not expecting to win anymore and there's nothing to get excited about.

Oxford outplayed us and thoroughly deserved the 3 points. In his post match interview the manager said we were the better side. I don't know what match he was watching but it just about sums up how clueless he is.

Bostwick and our keeper are probably two of our best players. Bostwick made a string of blocks and tackles and our keeper made a string of fine saves to keep us in the game.

Nah to be honest your keeper did barely anything, save for almost causing a hilarious own goal because he couldn't catch the ball. You're not the first set of supporters to overrate a shit goalkeeper though so won't make too many bones about it.

Our keeper has been one of our standout performers this season. Not that it would be difficult among these clowns.
