From the reports there were already signs of Moniz' stamp on the team, particularly in the 2nd half.
He made brave choices at half time and it seemed to pay off, first half Yeovil could have been 2 or 3 up 2nd half we were unlucky not to win it.

Barnsley, I know you never really stop trying but is your season finished now?

We are undefeated in 4 now, all 4 being draws, we could theoretically claw our way out of this drawing the final 5 games but I would much prefer a terrible 90th minute 1-0 win here. I still think 53 points will be needed.
I wonder if there will be any surprising changes made for tomorrow.

I like the cut of Moniz's Jib. Saw things were utter shite and changed it. I also like the fact he won't pander to players. A little bit mental but we need that with this shite.

No spencer or JCR and we may as well go home. Otherwise I think we will at least compete

Luckily for you lot, we never turn up in dead rubbers (for us anyway). If you've any sort of fight left in you then you'll win. How's McCourt been getting on? Oh, and that toss piece Lita?

Lita is one of those players who should be out the football league, but because of his past some idiot manager will think "I can get the best out of him again" - "class is permanent" etc

At least Moniz says the right things:

He told Magpie Player: “We must win the home games for your own crowd. We have a lot of respect for the opponent, but at home we must be dominate and we must press them with the crowd behind us, the 12th man.

“I am looking forward to it, it’s an honour and it will be special to play at home.

“We play for the supporters, they pay to come and watch. We must give every last percent.

“The fans come for chances, to be entertained and to win. We must win their confidence, it’s up to us, they will support us and we can turn their minds and gain trust through unity.

“Attacking is the best defence. If we can score three or four times, it doesn’t matter if a set piece goes in.

“We have to create a lot more scoring chances. We didn’t play so bad, but the focus must be totally different.

“We will try to win five games, for less, we won’t do it. We have the right mentality.”

Sounds like JCR is out for the season, which is a big blow, he's pretty much the only player we had who could create a goal out of nothing.

McCourt *looked* like he could in his first couple of games; he'd beat 2/3 players with ease then lay on a chance or take a shot. But since then he just hasn't looked very interested, frustratingly.

Before the game a draw would've been disappointing, with those circumstances and the other results it feels like it could be a season defining moment.

Second time this season against you lot we've wasted a ton of chances in the first half and ended up paying for it in the second :ffs: Really, really should have been at least 3 or 4-1 up, the 1 being Jones hitting the post. Second half we wasted another couple of chances then sat back and deservedly conceded an equaliser. Frustrating but would have been a lot worse if there was anything riding on it for us, finding out Chesterfield were 3-0 up after 20 minutes made it feel like a friendly after that.

Good luck Caahnteh lads, you were pretty poor tonight but still managed to pull an equaliser out the bag so hopefully that sort of grit will keep you up. It better do anyway as I love Nottingham and can't face a season without a trip to you or Forest!

I didn't think we were poor at all, I thought we played exciting attacking football

You definitely attacked more in the second half but still struggled to create chances, other than the one McCourt blazed over. "Poor" was probably a bit harsh.

21 shots and 59% possession is pretty good for us. Tactics were right tonight, too bad our team is just a bit rubbish.
