Derry returns to hopefully pick up 3 points to keep our outside chance of making the Play off's if other teams choke.

I predict a tight game. 2-1 to the U's.

Someone make it stop.

I'm very glad I can't go to this, can't be doing with Jimmy bagging against us.

We'll stuff them 3-0. Wimbledon will lose at home to Orient while Pompey will bottle it against Wycombe, leaving us in tricking distance of whoever loses out of the two of them when they play each other.

You'll put more than 3 past us. I expect half the squad to be dropped, and plenty of youth teamers given a go. It's like LVG did for Man Utd, deflect attention by giving youth a chance

never been less bothered about a game. Don't care if we win/lose, couldn't care less about Derry or Spencer, don't care if we play the same team purely so Cooper can stand and embarrass the spineless wilting wastes of flesh for roughly 3 minutes at 5pm or if we play the entire youth team as sacrificial lambs to spare the blushes of the aforementioned spineless wilting wastes of flesh. I don't care if Trew sells the club or stays and gifts 20% of the shares to Guy Branston. I don't care if Cooper stays or if Cooper goes. I don't care if the club goes into administration.

My schedule for Saturday dictates that I will be approx. 10 minutes walk from the ground at around 2.15pm and I have a season ticket but I'm still not going, the entire club from the chairman down to the fans that think Jon 'osteoarthritis' Stead is worthy of his wages because at least 'he tries' can go and fuck themselves.

My only hope for the club is that when it dies, and with a bit of luck that will be sooner rather than later, we have no phoenix club started. No 'AFC Notts County', just let that sad old name die and fade from memory with the nano-morsel of dignity that remains attributed to it.

Confident, then?

County gave us a goal start (what is it with your keepers?), then towards the end a few (usual suspects) of them gave up on trying to get a draw and sought ways to get off the pitch so that they could shower and watch the FA Cup Semi. Smith managed by having to be subbed before he was sent off, Noble just kicked/tripped Furlong whilst he was handy for the tunnel - and got the requested red. What a pair of tossers. Pies, you have my sympathy - especially when you consider what Cooper is going to put you through when you appoint him at the end of the season.

Apart from the first 15 - 20 minutes, we were not very good but didn't need to be. Gifted goal aside, we could/should have been at least 2 up but the clinical finishing had all been used up against Morecambe. After that, we battled and scrapped without creating many chances - but I was always confident that we'd get the second and possibly third, even when Pies drew level. The team were well up for it again and backed each other up when needed.

New "hero" Roberts was adequate but didn't inspire much confidence. Ledson's injury disrupted Plan A. We may be looking a bit thin on the ground by next saturday but the season will probably be over on Tuesday, when Pompey falter again, this time against the Dons.

Concentrate on the good news.

HMRC have been paid and apparently the take over is close. This season can't end soon enough but it will be good to see an end to the majority of the crap players at the club and those leaching like Noble. Why did he want to get sent off other than to miss any further games and avoid an injury. Sign of a true shit.

the takeover isn't close. At best they're negotiating which will take time and then you've got all the ratification, rubber-stamping, due diligence etc...

Good win for us, should've been more, County were atrocious, not that that's much of a surprise.

Noble's red card was hilarious but will only stay that way if we don't sign him....

Anyone could take on Noble, he's a fake hardman, gives it the big 'un off the ball when he can shove people about but when it comes to a tackle, he'll wuss out of most of them and goes hiding in just about any important game. He's just incredibly thick and will never have a career because of it, he's a decent footballer but doesn't have anywhere near the ability/talent to outweigh the negatives.

A shame as by all accounts he's a nice bloke off the pitch.
