!!!Keith Curle returns to Meadow Lane to face the club that sacked him just because he took them on a little bad run, so surprise surprise the notoriously fickle Notts County fans wanted him sacked and that's what they got. I'm sure if Curle had stayed on at County then they'd of been a success that season and maybe even got promoted, so he'll probably be looking to get revenge!!!​

Him and Craig Short, yes, again not all Notts fans wanted either of them out but RT who is the most fickle of all pulled his trigger.

Personally I can't wait for Sunday cos the season will have finished and we can think about holidays, (Summer probably) England v Wales and the rest whilst hopefully the club is sold and we can turf out 20 odd of the crap that Branston allowed in.

Curle blew a huge budget and massive chance of promotion at Notts so it wasn't really a huge surprise that he got the push.

I'd be surprised if he'd turned into Jose Mourinho since he left us. He had simple tried and tested players he needed to sign to improve us, got greedy and went for Zoko which turned out to be a massive disaster and summed up our recruitment under him really.

Cooper needs a result in order to get the job, lets see if the players turn up. I half expect Smith and Stead the slowest forward line ever to start again.

Curle's sacking was justified fwiw, he had a massive budget and still managed to bore an entire fanbase to tears every week. He also compiled a squad of genuine nobheads, not to mention the dealings with his son's agency (I don't think he's an agent anymore though, thankfully for you)

Thank god the season will be over after this. Complete rebuild job is required over the summer.

Notts are a complete shambles off the pitch, that really needs sorting to avoid us having a complete shitter next season too. We're pretty much at one of those points where a football club could easily go either way. I can see another season of struggle if we get to August and very little has changed.

The manager really is irrelevant currently. The club needs to sold and then Branston needs to be sacked. It doesn't matter who the manager is when you've got Ray Trew refusing to spend any money at all on the club and Branston signing players for you.

Worst Notts team I've ever seen though, comfortably. We had some shit ones a decade or so ago but at least they usually tried.

I'd make us early favourites for a season of struggling. Even though we are about to lose the majority of the crap, we have no manager, are up for sale and have a head of recruitment that's got us in this mess.

We are a joke, I can't see many players fancying joining Notts in our current state

That was incredibly easy, County were abysmal defensively and not much better going forward. A good performance from us though, looked threatening everytime we entered their half.

Enjoyed my first trip to Nottingham, helped partly by the result.

One hope for Notts County is that their club is actually up for sale, ours isn't and we are run by pathetic owners too who won't get us any further than mediocrity.
