That's because the 'dive' was a foul as well tbf.
It wasn't a foul, but it wasn't a dive. I think McLeod was definitely looking for it, but there was contact. That's my opinion anyway.

A little concerned at the lack of concern from the boss who thinks things are OK when all around seem to see it different
18 points from the last 23 games. Not good enough, but I don't think we're far away. We have an 'easier' run of games having already played most of the fancied sides.

Got to say, this is the second time I've been to Meadow Lane although I remember very little about my last trip up there (I think something like 10 years ago now); the ground was absolutely dead from the home fans. Now, Kenilworth Road has certainly had its atmosphere drop off quite a bit in recent years, but it looked like Notts County fans were bored. Just 4200 home fans and nearly 1700 Luton fans (after going on such a dire run in the last few months). I do wonder if Ray Trew is thinking at the moment, what's the point?

Not being disrespectful Notts fans, but you've got a team full of obscure foreign players, a foreign manager who doesn't seem to be all there, a stadium 75% empty, a chairman who does his transfer business on a forum and a squad that could be perceived as a short term fix. Do you feel totally 'with' the club at the moment?

It was a red card, though. He stopped the ball going through to Danny Green.

Still is wearing a bit thin on me now, there are only so many times you can essentially say "we're not that far away from being a good side" before it just becomes a completely meaningless platitude. He's been saying basically that for the whole of 2015 and I'm not really seeing tangible improvement anywhere to be honest.

I think the vast majority of fans have been amazingly patient given how we have performed since Christmas but if we don't pick up some decent results in the next 2/3 games then I'm sorry I don't think there is any more holding back in people's frustrations.

Ah, the good old fuck up and fail back up and running again.

Maybe Luton can hold Mansfield to a point next week

Great to see McCourt sat on the bench for 90 minutes too btw. Sadly, I bet he enjoyed sitting on the bench even more. Fucking trampy waster.

Not sure what's more embarrassing, Kenneth's posts above, our start to the season or Adams 2 desperate attempts for bites on this thread. :fish:

I'd say the sort of opposite, both a foul and a dive. McLeod did himself no favours with the way he went down, but it was a clear foul.

Mate, we were playing Luton Town in the fourth division. How much more than that were we meant to care?

Better. Glad i could provide you the assist. I hate to see people struggling.

Now say something about McFatty or something, then you will have hit the Lolton/Fuck up and fail/McFatty trifecta.

First half was painful to watch, Griffiths and O'Donnell refused to go forward which forced everything through the middle, at which point Notts pressured and won the ball back (whoever their #33 is was superb imo).

I feel for CMS, ran his socks off and demonstrated some real ability, I just wish he would shoot more.

Notts had a pattern of play and were very direct once it got to the midfield, ultimately they deserved the win.

Shoutout to a Luton supporter who left at 2-0 because he'd had enough... nearly regretted it.

Number 33 is Stanley Aborah. Product of the Ajax academy.
28 year old and signed a two year deal with option of a third in the summer. Class player who just ticks things over and is our unsung hero.

We have quality midfielders at this level with Stanley, Noble, Burke and Thompson. And that's not even mentioning Swerts and rob Milsom who haven't played yet

Aborah is a really weird one, he's been class in every game for us so far, but there must be a reason why he's made it to 28 and only played about 100 senior games.

Enjoying it whilst we can, though - set up the second goal with a Cruyff turn and flicked pass inside his own penalty area.

McGeehan needs to be playing for Luton, helped to change the game when he came on. The rest of their midfield was terrible. CMS is an absolute pest, but surprised how little confidence he seemed to have in the box.

McGeehan will certainly be in for Guttridge against Mansfield; the latter was atrocious.
Mackail-Smith doesn't lack confidence I don't think, but he's having to lead the line all by himself.

JS still doesn't have a clue about McGeehan and his best position.
