If we can perform how we have the last two games then I'd fancy us but this league is so odd you just never know. First ever game for Vale wearing Purple which will be different!

First time this season we look solid at the back (since signing Inniss) and Moore finally getting a run in the side since his family tragedy has been like a new signing and look good going forward with Page finally ditching the 1 up front crap we had been playing but can we keep it up? If we want to keep our play off hopes alive we need to get 7 points out of this, Oldham at Home and Coventry Away although personally I'd be happy to come out of them with 7 points to have all but sealed safety first!

I'll go with a sneaky 2-1 Pope and Marshall

Was it this this lot we battered but couldn't score past and then went on that shite run at the beginning of the season?

It was indeed! They used tactics Westley would of been ashamed off that day!

A convincing 2-0 is all I remember. We've effectively got a completely different team from then though - just as dull and boring but they now don't know how to win games.

Carroll
Muzzy Mullins Hollis Adams
CT Jones Noble
Thompson Bajner McCourt

That team picks itself for me but we'll probably play Newton, Edwards and Woolery zzzzz

Big game for Nottts this. Need to start picking points up at ML as their good away form seems to have evaporated

For some reason I have actually gone for a 2-1 win this time.
I have been getting a bit of dosh by putting the opposition in my bets recently but I just have a feeling.
Maybe its indigestion, who knows!

Breakfast in Spoons train 9-30, cracking day out, as for the game , it,s Vale we are talking about, this league is bizarre, top 5 now well clear and Yeovil a gonner, any result possible here, still bemused how we lost last year from 2-0 up and cruising, Campell-Ryce took piss mind that day and the keeper was outstanding, still can,t believe Willo missed from a yard out 11 months later , going go for a 2-2 draw and got be same team after mullering Donny.

Campbell-Ryce, Grealish and Spencer that day were all ridiculously good. Was a fantastic game, your second goal didn't cross the line. :D

Anyway, I think we'll win this but there is literally no rationale behind that at all. Go team.

We should stick with the same team that dismantled Doncaster last week, if we don't get any injures in between now and kick off.

Think we might nick this. If we do, that'll be three wins on the bounce. Unthinkable a month ago.

Silly league.

Hard to change a side that was so impressive last week but I have a sneaky feeling he might go for Dodds over Willo to add some more in the midfield especially if we go with the pacey wingers again.

Been hearing good things about this McCourt (sp) bloke, a playmaker in midfield - its only taken a year to find one!

Love Derry's interview on MP. It's probably not the sort of thing a manager should be saying but it's about time someone told everyone to stop being mardy expectant fuckers.

That story about McCourt coming over for a trial at 16 with Saul Deeney and not getting signed is mental. How shit must he have been at that age for us not to have him?!

Yeah, he started at Fleetwood last week. Played pretty well actually but was fucked after about an hour and I still don't really understand why we signed him.

Picked up my Purple Top all ready for tomorrow. Nice localish one for me and the missus is going shopping in Notts so I can have a few pre game pints! Looking forward to it now. Hoping a decent number travel after the last two results although the four best away days Walsall, Coventry, County and Blades have all come in a row so might impact as a couple of thousand will be going for our first trip there.
