Rather interesting that two people have spoken up about SUTSS, and been killed by the wolves shortly after.

I also find it rather odd that he's questioning our leader, despite him seemingly proving himself last night.
The "only choosing people to execute through dice rolling" also gives him a convenient excuse if that person dies and turns out to be innocent.

Nice job on getting that wolf! Still got a ways to go yet though. I agree with the comments about SUTSS too... Some good points raised, seems fishy.

Is the deadline for the quest in 1/2 hour? Oaf said tomorrow posting at half past midnight, so did he mean today or tomorrow as in Monday?

Don't think anyone has chosen a direction yet so

I AM GOING ON THE QUEST TO THE NORTH

I assumed he meant today, as otherwise it falls after the next night.

In the absence of anyone else wanting to join. I'll come with. Am only on my mobile this evening, so will try to be as responsive as possible! If someone else wants to take my place happy to switch and go on a later quest.

I am going on the quest.

I'll give this one a miss. Give these old bones a chance to heal. Might go play some vidya games with that boy Rammy.

194 remains in the food bank.

Also, with a new day comes a new quest. Somebody must say I AM GOING ON THE QUEST TO THE NORTH/EAST/WEST in bold to select which direction they want to take on today, and then two more people must go with them (if one or more space is still free by 7PM tomorrow, these people will be chosen at random).

As a word of warning... I will not be around much tomorrow, however, I will try to get this quest done around 8/9pm. Try to be around for that sort of time if you're wanting to go on this quest! To play it safe, I'm going to give this next game day a longish deadline, so I will set the deadline for executions and such as 3pm on Monday.

Ok, so I obviously didn't make it on for 8/9 tonight as intended. We've got Hodge and MagpieBee going on the quest but nobody else volunteered by 7 so...

You know what, I'm gonna give a little more time for you guys. Seeing as I couldn't get on here at the time I said, it's only fair I give you guys an extension. Fair enough, right? Plus I don't see this quest and day being done by 3pm tomorrow as well.

So, these new deadlines...

You have until 3pm tomorrow for this final volunteer to step forward, otherwise somebody will be assigned at random.

The deadline for executions and such will be 7pm.

I will aim to do it at 3pm, but as we saw today I'm not always able to be on here when I plan to be

But I shall try!

I see what's going on here. JJH's death is a 'Cheap sacrifice for Veggie Legs to prolong his stint in here'. Is this code? Has JJH sacrificed himself for a cause that both himself and Veggie share? It is a pity we can't interrogate JJH now he's dead. I developed a bit of software for the CIA to help train their agents in torture methods. I also sold it to some other governments but they like to keep up the pretense that they don't torture people. I would have loved to train someone to torture JJH.

In Dog We Do Not Trust.
If anything I think JJH was trying to get people to turn on Veggie Legs, no way would the werewolfs up and offer one of their own for execution when we hadn't got close to one of them yet, so the dog looks good at the moment for someone to trust, care to explain why you don't SUTSS?

Paul Haddock voted for VL as well, what's your opinion on our mayor now?

Ok, we never got a third volunteer, so Rammy is chosen at random to go on this quest.

Gonna make this quick as I don't have much time...

A small makeshift raft is made and the 3 set sail to the island in the north. They arrive and there is another stone, sat in what looks like a massive birds nest. What to do:

A) Pick up the stone, take it quickly!

B) Prod the stone with a stick and see what happens.

C) Chuck a rock at the stone and see what happens.

One person to do the action out of the three on the quest (whoever puts it bold in the thread) by 6pm or it is chosen at random.

Execution deadline under 2 hours, what are people thinking? Being honest I'm starting to get suspicious of SUTSS and would like to hear the reasoning for not trusting Veggie Legs.

Woof woof woof, woof woof. Woof woof.

(I would also be interested to hear from SUTSS. However, I don't think it is a good idea to vote for execution today when lots of people might not get the chance to vote at this stage, or to defend themselves. )

Fair point, getting SUTSS on would be the first thing, but about not getting a chance to vote? We've had a longer day then normal so people have had plenty of opportunity to get a vote in.

It is quite suspect that he's been so quiet since suspicion turned to him. I agree with the Dog, let's give him a bit more time to answer for himself, and not kill anyone today.

Sorry I haven't been vocal. Got into a really good game of Magic the Gathering against myself.

It would actually be a pretty good idea from the werewolves to sacrifice one of their own if they could pull it off. The risk for them would be being seered to beibg them in but if they were looking innocent then maybe the seer would go for others looking for wolves. Although if we have a sensible seer he would have done Veggie by now.

but to sacrifice one when numbers are still high and JJH had drawn practically no suspicion until Veggie Legs put his name forward. That's one hell of a risk and could easily have gone a further few days before needing to use a similar tactic. If JJH had drawn some suspicion it may have been an idea, but as it was? Would be very strange.

Agree it's very strange. And not so much a defence from SUTSS as trying to push the blame onto someone else...

Also, if Hodge did try to take the stone quickly, and is still alive now, then I assume we are all safe back at camp? That's totally how it works right? Yep? Good.

RIGHT.

FUCKIN' RIGHT.

So.

Hodge decides to just go for it and see what happens. If something is going to happen from touching this thing, better it happen right away than farting about taking their time only for it to happen anyway.

Rammy and Magpiebee stand well back and Hodge suddenly darts toward the white, rectangular stone. As soon as he lays a hand on it, he hears a very loud noise… and a HUGE eagle appears from seemingly out of nowhere! It must think that the stone is one of its eggs!

However, with the momentum Hodge had built up in rushing toward it, he is able to quickly grab it and get moving to a nearby treeline, where he will be concealed from the large bird. Rammy and Magpie Bee get to the tree line first and hide in a bush together and watch Hodge running for his life… the eagle swoops down…

But it’s too late, Hodge just makes it to the dense trees and the eagle crashes right into one. It bounced off, hits the floor and then gets back up… it stares into the trees but cannot see Hodge. Slowly it turns away and goes back into its nest.

The adventurers have gathered the second stone!

They get back to camp just before sunset, just in time for the execution votes and nightfall…

But of course, no execution votes were made so there is no execution today, once again.

It is night!

The night goes by quietly until the camp is woken by a dog barking and growling.

The survivors head to the kennel of their leader, Veggie Legs...

And he is stood, wagging his tail.

"Woof woof Groooowwll! Woof woof woof!.... woof!"

(The wolves came for me! But I was saved by... an angel!)

The wolves had attempted to strike but had been thwarted this night!

It is day.
