89 points, only 5 defeats - it's been a ridiculously good season. Just hope Hughton can help get the players mentally refreshed in time for Friday. Or if they're gonna dwell on the disappointment of missing out on top two, to use that as extra motivation for getting the job done in the play-offs. Either way, it's gonna take a monumental effort, especially if we're without Stephens for all 3 (potential) games.

You have been outstanding this season to be fair, and probably deserve to go up. But your players were wankers at our place, so I hope you don't go up.

I think Derby will beat Hull, less sure about the other tie but based on performances over the whole season Brighton should have the edge.

Imagine if Brighton fail to beat Wednesday and don't go through, only the 15 points above 'um.

Despite us pasting Hull recently and also getting the better of them at theirs we're a key player down and haven't quite carried our form into the PO's. They should win but I'm hopeful.

I reckon Brighton to get past Wednesday, Derby to edge Hull, anyone's game in the final.

Like the majority, I think Derby might turn over Hull but the other fixture is a tough one to call. At our place Brighton were superb and Wednesday had an off day but picking them up after going so close might be a problem for Hughton.
I'll go for a Derby v Brighton final with Brighton nicking it in a very close game.
Good luck to all 4 sides.

As it stands Dale Stephens will be suspended for 3 games, but Brighton are appealing, so he might become available for the playoffs.

Whatever happens we've had a brilliant season, much better than i expected.

Brighton have never won at Hillsborough i read earlier and don't have a great record against us in general, thats my hope. They're obviously better over the season than we are based on having 15 more points but if we can get a lead at Hillsborough and have something to hold on too we have every chance

And that for me is what makes Sheff Weds a real danger team to be playing in the semis. Flirted with the play offs all season without really staking a solid claim until late on, all the other clubs involved will be seeing the play offs as a booby prize for not gaining auto.

No Thorne is huge, the games against Hull would have been closer anyway but without him i'm not sure what to expect to see from us.

Also don't really wanna take another wembley loss like last time, ugh

It could be EXACTLY the same, if by some miracle we got there and play Brighton

There's no way they will win that appeal.

He did absolutely nothing wrong. It's impossible to go for a ball like that and not have studs raised. Happens 10+ times every game. If Gaston was wearing protection properly the only damage would've been a scratch on the shinpad and the game would've carried on as normal.

I don't know like, I'm pretty relieved to be in them despite us pissing it in the end. Spent the whole of 2016 looking over our shoulder instead of upwards bar the last few games.

Brighton clearly the better of the 4, Hull have probably got the best squad, Wednesday the underdog tag - fuck knows where that leaves us this time around. Hopefully we give it a good go, if not we'll see you all again in August.

Wednesday are going up for sure.

Kayal trying to tame Forestieri and Dunk with Hooper is embarrassing.

I think sernwa could possibly be the biggest prick in the history of life. I remember in Berlin Walkley was on about meeting him , I wish he'd of turned up , could of thrown the c*** in the river.
