Jamie Ward is one of six players who has not been offered a new contract by Derby County, but the club are still considering a deal for John Eustace.

Centre-back Shaun Barker, 32, last week revealed he is leaving and he is joined by striker Ward, 28, and defenders Lee Naylor, 35, Tom Naylor, 23, Zak Whitbread, 31, and Mark O'Brien, 22.

Non of the released lists look very appetising for any other Championship clubs, have to wait and see who turns down contracts.

NLN will be licking his lips at our released list (providing he keeps his job).

Jamie Ward would be a very good signing for a team 10th and below IMO. Maybe not Forest/Wednesday due to the history. At 28 he's still got a lot to offer.

Doyle understandably going where the money is - but probably still has it in him to be a decent Championship striker for a few more years, but who can blame him for turning down this opportunity?

As for Sako, an absolute steal that someone is going to get him on a free - a brilliant player, and should go to the Premier League.

Wouldn't mind a punt on Eagles, Ricketts and Ward all on free transfers to be honest.

Especially Eagles in that list - I'm sure he'll be picked up by a Championship club.

Where on earth would eagles fit in Cott's wingless wonders? I bet he's on tidy wedge as well!

I doubt it - considering he's spent the last year or so at Blackpool and Charlton.

He's still a technically good player in this league, and on a free transfer, I certainly wouldn't mind a gamble on him.

Shows how much I know, I thought he was still at Hull! :ffs:

Aidy White was shit hot on loan for us and then seemed to be ripping tree's up when he finished his spell, what's happened to him?

Is White the left back who's always crocked? Wouldn't be interested in any of those Leeds United released players.

A combination of managers playing him out of his natural position and various injuries killed any chance of him having a decent career with us.

Nigel Clough will be loving this. He was chasing Aidan White for an eternity whilst at Derby.

Austin let go?

Proper powerhouse midfielder if I'm on about the right bloke - always looked a good player whenever I've watched him in action.

Senior players Matt Mills, Craig Davies, Andrew Lonergan, Jermaine Beckford and Keith Andrews.

Come on Jermaine, there's a tasty signing on fee here for you.

I would love to see us tempt Jermaine back home.

As for Austin, he's done reasonably well under Redfearn, but I've always found that for every good game, there are 5 bad ones that follow. I'm more annoyed that we could have sold him for £500k to Wigan in January and we have now decided to let him go for nothing.

The only name that's interested me so far is Austin, but we already have Semedo, Hutchinson and Melo to play that role in midfield.

Only two goodbyes at present for MK - Will Summerfield and Ian McLoughlin have not been offered new contracts. Will need to wait and see if offers are accepted by Dave Martin, Lee Hodson, Dean Lewington, Tom Flanagan, Antony Kay and Dean Bowditch.

Tom Flanagan must definitely have dirt on someone high up in the club - I actually think that he would be a good player given time in a settled side, but over the last two years every time he is given a game it's just a matter of how long you have to wait before he makes a blunder. I'm also surprised that Bowditch has had an offer and can only assume it's on reduced terms.

Overall it's a big statement of faith in the squad that got promotion. And it's the cheap option but I'm sure that's got nothing to do with it :£
Robinson has already admitted that it's the loan market that will provide the new blood this season.

Think MK Dons will have a huge job on surviving at this level.

Craig Morgan and Ben Pringle turn down new deals.

On a football-ing level I'm honestly not that bothered, Pringle has reached his level and arguably exceed it, he was at best average the whole of last season, any championship team that signs him will stick him on the bench unless it's Mkat Dons (who'll be whipping boys this year). Morgan's story is similar not been spectacular and in my book is our third best centre half behind Broadfoot and Arnason (we needed a centre half if Morgan stayed anyway). Neither warranted a massive pay rise or 3/4 year deal. So them turning down deals is no major loss.

However if I'm being sentimental, I'm absolutely gutted Pringle is leaving after everything he's done for us and it's quite sad seen as he's been with us since the Don Valley days too, but he's created so many unreal memories over the last four years.

If we replace em with Rawson (on a season loan) and Ledesma, I think all Rotherham fans would see it's a clear improvement and at half the cost.

Ours was officially announced yesterday:

Out of contract but still in discussions - Jem Karacan, Alex Pearce, Adam Federici, Stephen Kelly (can see two of them staying max)

Senior players out of contract - Mikkel Andersen, Danny Guthrie, Zat Knight, Yakubu, Jure Travner

Youth players out of contract - Ryan Edwards, Dan Lincoln, Jonathan Henly, George McLennan, Aleks Gogic

Only two things really worth noting are that we still haven't signed either our captain, vice captain or POTS. As it stands we also are releasing what would have at least deemed at the start of the season, our five best goalkeepers (2 senior, 3 U21).

Strange decisions, can you get someone who is better at attending to the kit? Will the shirts be ironed more thoroughly?

Absolutely delighted to see Danny Guthrie leaving the club.

Kit man only shock for me (Can't believe we're talking about our kit man on here...)

Not sure why so many fans are getting their knickers in a twist about these coaches leaving. Clarke has been here six months and so far has only signed one of his own backroom staff. He probably needs 2-3 more. I remember when Rodgers joined and we immediately signed like 7 coaches to work alongside him. Clarke is still working with people who didn't even know that long ago.

I'm happy to become the new kit man but they have to use Daz Ultra washing powder.Maybe our former kit man was using Persil and Clarke wasn't happy or the kit mans ironing standards have dropped in recent months.
