Could Saturday be the day the little judas gets his p45?

Nah, bollocks to that - nailed on victory for Barnsley as us Latics love to end others' barren runs.

He'll be back at Oldham the next time your manager leaves!

Neither will happen.

Was brilliant last year, 2,500 of us there and a 3-1 win to boot. There'll probably be a third of that this time, we'll lose again, Johnson will keep his job, and we'll equal our worst run of results in our 128 year history.

Seems fitting that Barnsley lose on Saturday and Barnsley sack Johnson just after.

Guaranteed victory this for barnsley. But our season is a write off anyway and I'm only turning up to give the little c*** an ear full.

One of my favourite managers of recent times but the guy threw away any credibility he was building when he left for barnsley. Would be Christmas come early were we to win and he gets the boot by 5pm.

Not many people in the world get me riled but this prick is one of them.

The timing of his departure is what left a bad taste. On the cusp of the playoffs and he left us high and dry rather than see it through. Even if we'd finished say 10th I'd have seen him as a success and I'm sure other clubs would have. I wouldn't have begrudged him a move in the summer.

His departure was the start of the decline we haven't recovered since, especially employing that sham who recently got sacked by Halifax.

Glad to have seen him fail so far this season, Barnsley have been kind to him many other clubs would have sacked him by now.

As for the game I think Barnsley will win, we have an awful habit of helping teams out of bad runs. His recent loan signings have been good as well.

Decline? I suppose when you're WABLO it might seem like one.

I think Oldham have a soft spot for the Johnson's - it seems whenever either of them are under pressure they gift them an away win... (spoke to soon?)

Thought we'd made a bollocks of it after Toney missed those two chances before conceding another laughably soft goal. Thankfully they finally showed some of the resolve that's been missing this season and snatched a deserved win. Oldham looked like pretty much every other team we played and lost against in the previous 8 games, thoroughly average and there for the taking, which is part of why that run was so desperately frustrating.

Very happy tonight though, great performance first half and although patchy in the second they pulled through. You reds.
