Oldham, anyone know if the rumours are true (about none payment of players)?

Cheers for that mate, hope it's all resolved and you start the league on a level footing and 0 points. Will be in The Rifle Range before our game if supporters are allowed!
Not that I want to see other clubs suffer, why be so in favour of Maccs points deductions but not for Oldham?

(Apologies if you're the wrong Grimsby fan that I recall has been pro macc being punished heavily)

Not too sure I have ever been in favour of Macc being punished heavily (or otherwise actually). I like the Railway View Tavern, why would I not want Macc to go down and miss such a cracking Real Ale pub. I've always wanted those gits at Stevenage to go down.

IF Oldham have broken nthose rules (and we don't really know what has gone on), they should be punished, and if the EFL have not been consistent in their handling of that situation, Macc may have grounds for a successful appeal.....but all this depends on exactly what went on at Oldham, it may not be the same situation

But there doesn't seem to be any effort from EFL or anyone else to find out what is going on. Why? Certain people from other clubs in this league were all over us, so why not Oldham? The line they strung out was we should be punished for our crimes yet when others have committed them no one seems to bat an eyelid.

I get the point that we're a basket case due to our owner, no body wants him here, and i understand the risk having us in the league next year would be in terms of potential collapse, but there are cases like ourselves all over the place, some more well known about than other I would guess.

Well, if it is true, why weren't the PFA all over it, they were quick to jump on both us and Macc, so that is why I suggest IF it is true, the PFA like to think they are the football mafia, and would have been crying for their members not being paid....so you see where this is going, it would have to be one hell of a conspiracy. Would be interesting to see if anything comes out of this

And now they appoint Karl Evans. Jesus wept.
Evans now at Oldham
Benwell looking to shaft Macc
The prince of liars involved in the Charlton mess
The Bury curse is spreading and I can only despair for other fans.
