Apologies for the seemingly eagerness showing here, but spirits are high...
Another big game for us on Saturday at home to struggling Colchester. Historically, whenever we have put one of the auto-hopefuls away, we've succumbed to a "lesser" team the following game and therefore undone all the good work. Given we've beaten a thoroughly impressive Swindon side tonight, that'll be wasted if we don't back it up with another 3pts on Saturday.
A Valentines Day special at BP too it seems, as its £5 admission for all (not sure about away fans but I doubt it), so there'll be a higher than normal attendance hopefully watching us pick up 3 more points.
I'm off to Orient the week after, so going there on the back of 3 straight wins would be lovely.
I'm hoping Wilkinson is fit as he ran Swindon ragged for the 12 minutes he was on the pitch before going off injured, but if not then it's one from Murphy / Poleon to partner Forte up top. Otherwise I would imagine it's the same team.
I'll predict a 3-1 win for Latics, with Forte grabbing a brace and big George Elekobi bagging himself another, and us cementing 5th place.
