Apologies for the seemingly eagerness showing here, but spirits are high...

Another big game for us on Saturday at home to struggling Colchester. Historically, whenever we have put one of the auto-hopefuls away, we've succumbed to a "lesser" team the following game and therefore undone all the good work. Given we've beaten a thoroughly impressive Swindon side tonight, that'll be wasted if we don't back it up with another 3pts on Saturday.

A Valentines Day special at BP too it seems, as its £5 admission for all (not sure about away fans but I doubt it), so there'll be a higher than normal attendance hopefully watching us pick up 3 more points.

I'm off to Orient the week after, so going there on the back of 3 straight wins would be lovely.

I'm hoping Wilkinson is fit as he ran Swindon ragged for the 12 minutes he was on the pitch before going off injured, but if not then it's one from Murphy / Poleon to partner Forte up top. Otherwise I would imagine it's the same team.

I'll predict a 3-1 win for Latics, with Forte grabbing a brace and big George Elekobi bagging himself another, and us cementing 5th place.

2-0 Latics and hopefully a decent crowd with the £5 offer.

Should be a home win, but you never know.

£22 in the away end. Shocking if it is a fiver everywhere else - you would have to be a mug to not just go in the home end.

£22 to sit in that horrible stand in itself is a joke.

I would say this was a coupon buster, but then you had Southend, Wycombe and Chesterfield to rub it in.

22 quid is still 2 quid less than I was charged at your place.

Not my fault if you didn't buy earlier than the matchday. Besides, £22 itself isn't the issue here - most away days this season have been no less than that.

Absolute shite game. Not sure Col U deserved to win they took their chance. Fair play. Shocking display again under a decent crowd for us. Still in the playoffs somehow.

Before Gillingham won today, our record this season....

From 18th down:

P9 W1 D3 L5. That's 6 from a possible 27 points.

From 5th - 17th

P14 W8 D6 L0. That's 30 from a possible 42 points.

We're fucking shit against the shit.

The fact we've not beaten Colchester at home for 6 years should have been enough of a detterent.

I trusted you.
