Here comes the reverse fixture of our local derby.

We brushed them aside with ease over at Spotland, 3-0. however with them having Henderson & Done back for this one I am expecting a tougher game.

A win for Rochdale will cement their play off position, whereas a win for us brings us right back in the mix after a truly dreadful last few weeks both on and off the pitch. We could even be sitting 6th come tomorrow night if Doncaster & County draw.

Likely lineup: -

Paul Rachubka

Genseric Kusunga - James Wilson - George Elekobi - Connor Brown

Liam Kelly

Mike Jones - Carl Winchester

James Dayton

Dominic Poleon - Danny Philliskirk
Got a feeling Dayton may get a start here and push Philliskirk further forward. Morgan-Smith disappointed at Fleetwood and Forte is, I'm hearing, out for a fortnight.

A draw is probably most likely, but I have to be optimistic here so I'm going for 2-1.

Philliskirk & Poleon (rarity) to score.

Glad Oldham seem to be putting the Evans nonsense behind them and concentrating onffootball.

To me this is a similar task to Bradford the other week - away game against rivals who beat us at home - hopefully with a similar end result.

A narrow win for Dale with the later winner coming from the usual source.

By the way, 2 decent goals by Oldham on Saturday so well done with the win. Cracking support too.
