Yes we're just a couple of points off the playoffs but a combination of recalled players, numerous injuries and our best player getting splinters on Ipswich's bench mean that we'll not make the playoffs. Time to blood the youngsters.

Only teams in my mind that should be posting in here at the moment are Salford, Donny, Tranmere and Swindon. They aren't going down given they have 14-15 point gap to FGR with goal difference. I also doubt they are going up, given they'd need to win about 10 of their final 12 games to even reach 70 points.

Could see the play-off pack start to thin out. Harrogate sliding a bit, Wimbledon not in good form, Newport, Bradford and Accrington seem to lack consistency.

It's normally the Easter weekend that really sorts out who's realistically involved at either end, it's still far too early to make assumptions either way - I didn't think Walsall or Crawley would be troubling the play-offs a month ago and now look at them. All that said, I think the top 5 are starting to pull clear of the rest a little and it's 3 from those 5 for the autos, so two play-off spots to fight for for the rest. There are too many sides still in contention to have any real idea of how it'll end up, it really is anyone's guess at the moment from 6th down to 16th.

4 points outside the PO’s with 12 to play and it’s time to blood the youngsters? No wonder Al Hamadi left

We're in dreadful form. We're not going up or down.

Stockport County.
Proper toys out of the pram stuff this. There's loads of football to be played and the play off positions are ridiculously tight.

Any team down to Bradford in 16th could still get in the playoffs really.

I fancy our chances, only because we’ve been absolutely solid in defence since GA came in.

However, we’re having a season from hell when it comes to injuries, so this may catch up with us at some point.

Interesting month coming up:

Notts County (h)
Doncaster Rovers (h)
Accrington Stanley (a)
FGR (h)
Mansfield (h)
Harrogate Town (a)
Tranmere Rovers (h)

It feels like a season-defining month ahead.

Whilst no easy games as such that’s a lovely looking set of fixtures. Points have to be won though.

Correct - I’ve since amended.

Missed off FGR at home, too.

So, 5 home games and 2 away.

Although, the two games we have away are Accrington and Harrogate - and they’ll feel more like home games to us anyway.

Absolutely no chance we're troubling the playoffs now.
