In fairness I don't think anyone in the league will sell out our away end this season considering we can give up to around 4k to away fans now.

If Stockport are doing well then they might bring a couple of thousand down in April, but no-one else is likely to break a 2k mark all year I'd imagine. Orient also visit in April but on a Tuesday, and they only brought about 1500 when flying high at the top of League One a few years so can't see them doing much better than that a level lower.
Ah, had no idea your away end was that big. Never been before.

Really hard looking start for us, complete turnabout from last year when we got all the easy beats first up then had a rock solid run of about 10 really tough games. End of season isn't bad on paper, Stockport away last game though. Obvious what the choice of costume will be.

Know where your coming from re fixtures, But maybe playing these teams early before they
get into thier stride may well work in our favor.
Or we could be overating other teams.

Just over 4K if you can sell them
You can tick us off on that given the excellent date for it

In fact, we appear to have not been shat on at all with these fixtures, cracking set with all good away days on a Saturday/Bank Hol

Rochdale away first. Happy with that, fairly local and a winnable game. Could be a messy few days around Christmas, Walsall away 17th, world cup final 18th, Stockport away 26th. Let's hope the kids don't want much for Xmas.

Do you reckon Crewe will get to the World Cup final then

rumour on our forum already (probably nothing to it?) that Stockport v Barrow is being moved to a 12:30 KO on the opening day for Sky TV coverage

Looking forward to playing Halifax-in-Furness already

Having done literally nothing for the previous 89 minutes, in true Rooney style

Looking forward to seeing 1,200 of you dressed up as burning flags

Yeah Barrow away has them sticking us on SKY because of our size and stature and finally being back etc. And us losing 1-0 to a Rooney free kick.

Harrogate away on Boxing Day is a bit of a waste really as we'd sell that out regardless but yeah otherwise decent for us I'd say.

Hartlepool fans with that creepy little fancy dress thing they do whilst Challinor whisks us to promotion on the final day is how it ends though. Mwah.

Happy enough with ours.

Third time we’ve had Barrow away on an International weekend, had to miss our game there in 2017 because of this, last season I got there, but this season it will likely be the only game I miss - the lure of watching England play in the San Siro can’t be ignored.

Do you go watch England a fair bit, out of interest? I might have to bend your ear on this. Hoping to get to Germany for the Euros with a few mates but not really clued up on the process of getting tickets.

Happy to get the favourites out of the way in the first two games before they find form and steamroller the rest of the league.

Us being favourites is a complete myth, bookies just responding to giddy fans.

We're not proven at this level at all. I've got a feeling we'll start slow. We're notoriously slow starters even when we have good seasons.

Nothing says welcome back to the football league like Barrow and Stevenage in the league, and a tie against Harrogate and Wolves U23s.
