Worse set of defenders i have seen in my life [period ]

If Evatt gets a tune out of that back five who started yesterday he is a fucking genius

I disagree. I thought he was decent albeit the final ball was lacking, as with the rest of our midfield.

You must be easily pleased... He picked up where he left off for us, produces nothing.

A very comfortable afternoon in the end. We were very clinical with our chances and three very well worked goals. Got the ball wide and we finally have strikers who can attack the ball. Ironside and Mullin are dogged and will be a good threat for us this season.

Carlisle are not as bad as the fans on here make out but I would like their opinion on Chris Beeches post match interview. Nothing appeared to be his fault and they lost the game because our strikers and defenders were fouling all game. They had loads of shots and he can't remember too many for Cambridge (despite losing 3-0).

The stats do bear him out, you scored three goals from only five shots, we took 19 and only hit the target once (which I can't even remember happening). I don't see the problem with him pointing that out.

He feels that we were on the wrong end of too many refereeing decisions, maybe he's reaching because I don't remember thinking that we should have had more free kicks but it didn't come across to me like he was saying that was the reason we lost. I'm not really that bothered with what he says to the media after such a poor performance. He has a job on his hands to sort us out but the media asking him about what went wrong straight after the match, which to be fair they have to do, isn't likely to provide much insight.

Honestly we are that bad, we could still be playing now and the score would probably just be even greater in your favour, and we were even worse v Oldham. I listened to a bit of the Cambridge audio and your commentators were very kind towards us. Unlike last season on this occasion we both had the same view of the match.

I'm confused. Just 7 days ago you were saying they were amazing

Especially the wing backs. There was that international one who was going to tear up the league and that other one that Mansfield fans were definitely wrong about. So I must also profess my confusion.

Perhaps as expected, Masi hasn't got a scooby about L2 and the talent of any of the players Bolton signed

I can’t possibly countenance that he’s a bombastic blowhard whose insane overconfidence is based on absolutely no knowledge whatsoever. Bolton do have the biggest ground, so of course they have the best players. It’s the rest of us who are wrong, surely?

The young lwb will make a good player fast strong quick decent on the ball watched him the last two games he is just nervous and made the odd wrong decision that will come in time.

If you read back to before yesterday kicked off i voiced my concerns about the team he put out
Jak Hickman will be our rwb in the next game or so

Any comment on the abuse your captain got on twitter that forced him to make it private. Imagine what a nervous young defender would be like with that kind of 'support' getting on his back if you arent even tolerant towards an experienced player.

Rome was not built in a Day....Exeter not even foundations laid in 120 years
We have some pretty good Roman walls thanks very much. Still standing after 2000 years of keeping northern c***s out.

Yes not called for....We have our fair share of morons. Think Sarcevic is big enough to look after himself
His performances this far have not been good enough but he is a decent player and will get through this.
I agree. Seems we dont give our youngsters the backing and support they need at times
