Sigh, I will be present at the match. I'd normally make a longer post, but there's not really much else to say.

0-3, McNulty hat trick.

I'm ready with my phone to put my "torch" on, I will also be looking to film Hendons reaction whe we're 6-0 down, should we start getting on his and the teams back again.

Pretty sure I'm obligated by the thread to say we're going to lose 0-9, but in reality I think it'll only be 1-5.

The problem with our injury list is that we only need four injuries to have a bench filled entirely with scholars. We've got six. Revising to 0-7.

Hendon needs a performance, something to show the fans that he's still got the players on his side after last Saturday when we were dire.

From what I've heard on the grapevine, is that IF we lose Saturday then he will be gone, he desperately needs at least a performance because Becchetti sacked him last week but for some reason changed his mind..........

Gianluca Romano was asked to leave by Becchetti after his behaviour after the Scunthorpe game...........

Also apparently Simpson, McAnuff and Cox are severely eating into our wage bill - If any sensible offers come in during the transfer window for Simpson and McAnuff they will 100% be going, as we need to balance the books.

We also have an injury crisis and now face two games in three days...............

Portsmouth will beat us, it will just be a question of how many they can stick past us........

Hendon Out.

What happened with Romano after the Scunny match? Was it to do with the bench bust up?
Its on the official board, something about he took Colin Munfords car to get back home after the Scunthorpe game, but it had some equipment in it that the club needed and he didn't return it until a few days afterwards - Its something along those lines!!! Also because he took said car, it meant Munford and one other had to jump on the team bus back!!

Seems it's an away banker judging by this thread.

As a Pompey fan, I can't see it any differently.

2-3.

Shame to miss this one, as it's one of football's greatest sights seeing a home crowd turning on their manager.

We'll get something from this game and Hendon + the stability brigade will be unbearably smug, calling it now.

Haha, we're playing 4 centre backs across the back line, a right back at right midfield and Ollie Palmer (we have a right back, a left back, a right midfielder and two strikers on the bench). 0-1 already.

Fuck off Hendon.

Lavery has perhaps made one touch since the red card. Without McNulty Portsmouth have looked devoid of anything in the way of transitional play. Their defence is having an absolute mare also, simple ball forward led to the penalty, then Palmer has had a mile of space to score. Can't deal with Simpson's movement, fair enough, but they're not dealing with Palmer well also.

Haha. 3-1 Orient, Palmer with two. Down to 10 men as well.

Reverse-Jonahed this like a boss.

The only reason we won overall in the end was because Adam Webster failed to deal with a stray ball over the top and got himself needlessly sent off. Barton was woeful in the first half as a centre back, even Ollie Palmer scored twice FFS :fl:

Our captain Mathieu Baudry is an idiot though, bought into the gamesmenship and put his forehead into Bennetts. What was even more hilairous, was that Palmer scored again from the resulting free kick we won from that incident!!!

Alex Cisak was our MOTM, the double save he made in the first half kept us in the game and the 5 saves he made when it went to 10v10 won us the game.

Hendon tactics were appalling when we went 3-1 up, we couldn't keep the ball at all, our passing was non existent, we keep playing the ball long and losing it. Portsmouth stretched us far far too often.

I agree that Hendons switch to 4-4-1 was the right move, but we was still poor in possession.

We now have to play again Monday and our players were royally fucked at the end, despite playing 11v10 in their favour and 10v10 for 30mins, it should not be like that, it was appalling for me to watch anyway.

There were two games this season where was unlucky not to win, away at Cambridge and Northampton when both opponents keepers were MOTM, today evened out those two games for me.

Portsmouth were a good side and will no doubt get promoted, had it stayed 11v11 they'd have mauled us.

I agree with most everything Rob says. Rectified it well by bringing on Shaw where we could cut out the passing lanes, but even then Pompey had the chances to grab a goal.

I thought Cisak, Palmer and Pritchard were our best three players. I'm probably Cisak's biggest critic, but today I thought he was a 9.5 in terms of performance, made a number of top draw saves.

Enjoying the fact that our assistant manager and madman chairman had a fight on the pitch at the end of the game. Captain sent off for violent conduct and the manager still refusing to do post match interviews like a petulant child. Never less than a circus, no matter what the result.

I will say one thing though, as good a side as Portsmouth were at moving the ball, they had no pace at the back and at times were woeful in their defending.

Cook's decision though to only go with three CBs and no cover at the start of the season though............

Defensively we haven't really been too bad so far this season, so today was abit of a shock and with Burgess injured and Whatmough nearly back from 6 months out we are down to bare bones.

Ollie Palmer celebrated by showing off his bra. Did he get a yellow card for it?

Not sure what's more laughable Palmer celebrating like that because he's finally scored or that nutjob owner.

Genuine question, I thought folk didn't like him? Videos on Twitter show all the crowd enjoying it and high fiving him.

Football is a very fickle beast isn't it? A couple more wins and Hendon will be adored, a couple more losses the crowd will want his blood, that's the way it goes. There are more than enough serious question marks over Becchetti to be very distrustful over his regime, far more than putting on an Orient shirt and running around the pitch can solve, but then again most folk don't go digging I imagine.

He is lucky that our fan base is small, old and fair weathered. He is a moron of the highest order, as funny as it was, he had no right to boot his assistant manager up the arse regardless of it being banter or not, in front of everyone.

He was clearly pissed though, he was sitting in the gallery and going mental. I wouldn't be caught dead high fiving him now, he has completely ruined us so far.
