I'm trying to be positive about the appointment but it's a struggle. As it's been said though, who else would want to take the job? Managing Rovers in 2016 isn't exactly a mouth-watering prospect for most managers. I'm really not looking forward to next season to be honest. But football is a fickle game so if he has a good start I'm sure the fans won't mind and neither will I.

Sounds similar to when we appointed Danny Wilson but worse . As it happened he actually won a lot of our fans over which was a disgrace in itself. As enjoyable as that season was until the 44th game I still never liked the c***. If I was a Blackburn fan at the minute I think I'd be giving it a miss next year.

That petition is pathetic. Whether you like an appointment or not you should at least give the manager a chance before making a decision. As Aaron said, Leicester fans weren't particularly enthused when RanierI was appointed and that worked well.

Whilst being a Blackburn fan is pretty grim these days, what's the point of moaning about every aspect of the club? Don't get me wrong. If we're a few months into the season and it's looking shite then fair play. But to be going into the season signing petitions for a manager to be sacked without a ball even bring kicked is braindead. Why bother supporting the club if you get no pleasure from it?

Coyle has a track record of relegating teams (I'm including jumping ship at Burnley and sacked at Wigan in that). If we leave it a few months into the season it might be too late to try to save ourselves this season. And we certainly can't sustain League One football.

I just think that if the fans start the season with a negative outlook then this will manifest itself into the players. Don't get me wrong, I know that things are shit, but if fans go to matches booing and moaning from the get go then it won't motivate the players to perform well.
