He of Channel 4 Italian football, ITV champions League and PES fame has passed away aged 67.

Another iconic commentator of the past has left us.

Ah no, I liked him a lot. Him and Ray Wilkins (when he was a good commentator) on Footy Italia were great.

Was very fond of his Football Italia commentary. Thought he deserved better gigs than he generally got.

RIP he was very knowledgeable at times and sometimes not in a funny sort of way.....which is why i liked him. Commentators should just commentate never mind the useless stats.
