My girlfriend's dad had a heart attack last night, so I'll be spending a bit of time at the hospital. A first for Christmas. My parents' in the morning and her mum's in the afternoon. Christmas films followed by trivia games. I love it.

Christmas for me is another day of the year pretty much now. Last Christmas was spent in the hospital after my gran had a stroke, was also the first without my dad, this will be the first one at home without my dad and gran. Will have a meal with my mum and nan, goose, that's about it, they'll watch crap tv, I'll probably apply for a proper job and play a bit of poker. This evening I'll drop off my goddaughter's present. Boxing Day I'll pop down the O's, then Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will involve working and a nice train ride to High Wycombe.

Bah humbug.

He's had a stent put in about 3 hours ago and will be discharged later today as long as his tests go well. Early Christmas present.

Cheers, mate. We're going to spend most of the day driving from place to place. The hospital was actually convenient for our travels because it's near the other places we have to visit. Her dad's place is in another town, so I should have tried frightening him at the hospital before.

Also I've told my siblings five years running I'm not buying them anything so don't buy me anything but they still insist. Pretty annoying as I just don't see the point.

I do too, never seems to really sink in, my joy comes from my nephews and nieces opening their presents instead.

Got 10 coming for Christmas dinner, It'll be mad and it'll be great. Never understood why people go on holiday this time of year, sunbathing on christmas day and often away from family and friends...just seems odd.
