I expect a few of them stopped off at Ikea to get more bits for their flat-pack ground.

WEMBLEY BOUND! Well deserved over two legs. Either Eastleigh or Grimsby will give us a better go than FGR I believe. 1 to go.

Well you all know that FGR refused to give us extra tickets despite having a side terrace which was no more than 25% full on Wednesday, so its hardly surprising.

Anyway, excellent win - very comfortable but just glad to get it done. As miagsy says, one to go :)

As a neutral would love to see Eastleigh start well here and get themselves on level terms.

I think Eastleigh will lose but will go down fighting here unlike FGR.

Why are attendances still a reason to mock clubs? There's plenty of other reasons to laugh at FGR besides the number of people supporting them. It is what it is.

Want Eastleigh to pull through this then take Rovers out at Wembley. Feel they'd be less competition next season, money or no money.

Classic home performance this is, devoid of any ideas and happy to let them play. Long ball dross with the two up not letting a single thing stick when it does come on the deck.

Personal feelings about F£R aside at least they have a stadium, in the traditional sense with terracing/seating on all four sides and their support would be no worse in the FL than Accrington, Morecambe and D&R.
Eastleigh on the other hand have a ground on a par with some we saw back in our Evo-Stik days, which got me trying to think if their are any other sides currently in the FL with such large areas where standing against the barrierrs is allowed? I am also surprised that the FL would allow clubs to compete where only a small barrier seperates fans from the on pitch events.

I know I'm pulling this from a few pages back but I don't think it's that a big deal actually. Fans in the main stand at Prenton Park are separated from the pitch by a foot-high barrier with a few openings, and are very close to the pitch. Then I've seen plenty of league fans (at the Shay and Gigg Lane too) who walk up to the barriers to watch the game with ten minutes to go.

You certainly don't see too many grounds in the football league that are as hurriedly built-up from standard 2,000-capacity size as Eastleigh's though.

Oh, nice one Palmer!

Cos' willy-waving over attendances is and always will be an English obsession.

Never in doubt he'd finish that, great striker. Will be a cracking final.

So far so fantastic, but I want more. Rub their monied faces in it, show them what it means to be a REAL football club. :bdick::bdick::bdick:

30+ minutes of that were horrible. Just felt like the Newport games from two seasons ago. John-Lewis and Palmer who didn't link up or do anything (partly because they didn't get anything) for most of that half, turned into inspired demigod Non-League strikers for a few seconds for the first. Insane strength and tenacity from Shop, brilliant turn that shouldn't have been allowed from Palmer and then a great finish. Never looked like a goal even when Palmer wriggled free and shaped to shoot. Only when it left his foot did I think it was going in. Palmer's got two tackles coming in down low and puts his laces through it, luckily. Second is just crap defending and a cool head from John-Lewis. Absolutely buzzing now.

No complaints, in both games we were nowhere near them. Would like Brizzle to go up now, if only to get rid of that effing song.

Does anyone know why Yemi doesn't have a sponsor on his shirt? Same in the first leg
