During an on-line forum with our manager, Mark Cooper, he was asked which League 1 player would he like to have.

Joe Bryan of Bristol City was his pick

Mine would be his teammate, JET. Can't believe he's not the first name on their teamsheet

Who would you choose?

Bloody tough question is that, some very talented players in this league currently but I think probably luongo, with garner a close 2nd.

Think Garner and Luongo are the only ones who would improve our squad significantly.

Joe Garner, without doubt.

Said this to my Dad the other day, only him, Luongo and Alli I'd be dying to add to our side from L1.

Alli probably. Is that allowed seeing as he's technically a Premier League player now?

If not, then Korey Smith.

Tough one as I would have picked Freeman but our midfield isn't really where we need to strengthen.

So for that reason only I'd pick Garner, the type of player you love and everyone else hates

Slightly left field, but I'd go for Ian Henderson of Rochdale. Massively underrated player at this level but he's such a talent. Scored a lovely chip against us 2 seasons ago for Colchester, added another 3 goals this season. Bagged 16 goals as a winger which is pretty impressive. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Long term gains.
Garner for me aswell, easily the best striker in league 1 in my opinion.

Also, agree with Cooperman on Bryan, been quality whenever I've seen him.

I have been very impressed by the Port Vale lad Marshall. He should find himself a club at a higher level...

Was tempted to mention Henderson. Very impressed with him when they played us.

Always seem to notice him when watching the highlights and is playing a part in a lot of their goals, if not, scoring them.
