Very difficult game this. Plymouth currently situated within the top 3 with Luton improving under the instruction of new manager Nathan Jones. For a neutral, this should be a top game, with historical significance, played in front of a big crowd.

C'mon Luton. Do the biz. You need the 3 points more than Argyle.

The pessimistic side of me expects defeat but I have this strange feeling we'll win well.

Since we can have a tendency to bang on about our support - our only crumb of comfort this season - really crap ticket sales at less than 500.

Remember Plymouth being far, far superior in the home game but we have improved a lot under Jones so I think we will give Plymouth a game of it at the very least. Just got a feeling that we could do something here for some reason.

I know Jones has said that he would only bring in players who can improve the first 11 but I'd be pretty surprised if Rea comes in to the team straight away here, would be pretty harsh I think to drop anyone from the 11 that played against Crawley.

I wanted to go, but even I couldn't justify the difficulty of getting to this one.
5 hours by road and rail (I hate long trips) or a flight Saturday morning, using up all of my remaining airmiles, to Newquay or Exeter, still another 90 minutes, a hotel overnight and a flight back to Gatwick on the Sunday.

I'm down here in Plymouth ready to watch our tenth away win of the league season tomorrow (he says hopefully), and will be so busy celebrating that I'm not going back home until next Thursday. OK, possibly slightly optimistic.
Overtook the team coach on the M5 just south of Bristol at about 3pm.

(Oh yes, nearly forgot, I'll also be visiting a relative who lives down here.)

17 minutes to go - Luton have had their first chance in 20 minutes! This is a huge end to this game. This would be another huge result for us.

Becoming resilient. Good trait if we can improve going forward.

Good result but it just makes me even more frustrated that we couldn't make the breakthrough against Crawley last week. If only we could have made that domination pay.

To be fair, that's exactly what we said last week after beating Oxford having lost to your shower the Saturday before...

So many abysmally average sides from 3rd down (Orient included, before anyone thinks I am in any way excepting us).

Some pretty scathing comments from Nathan Jones re the Plymouth fans after Dan Potts was stretchered off injured. The official Plymouth Twitter feed at the time:

Not for the first time this season, an away side under pressure at Home Park indulges in gamesmanship #pafc #ArgvLut

They did the same when our keeper was stretchered off as well this season, that was over 2 months ago and he's still out injured and it doesn't look like he'll play again this season, yes i know we rightly have a reputation but Lynch was clearly in agony.

Totally agree! Its run with absolutely no professionalism. All nicknames and bias.

If you deserve to lose say so! Our Twitter account, Wilder, O'Toole and Holmes all said Stevenage deserved a draw from yesterday, it's not hard!!

Hopefully they lose in the playoffs and Rovers come up with us two
