So, they've won their last two games 4-0. We were on a great run but had an off day at Cardiff.

honestly, I don't really care about this game, just looking forward to Forest and Bolton next week. Just want to get this out the way.

We'll probably draw. 1-1.

Robinson deserves a start but I think I'd keep the same team and shithouse it, can't imagine we will win the midfield battle against this lot. Save Robinson as Plan B. Maybe bring in Pearson to give us some extra bite, Johnson has been quiet lately and could run riot coming off the bench late on, if he's played behind the striker(s).

Don't really fancy us for this one, feels like just the sort of game we'd drop points in. Hope the new found mental toughness and resilience in the squad prove me wrong - has served us pretty damn well so far.

From my limited viewpoint, PNE have done amazingly well to be in with an outside shout of play-offs. If you'd been told back in the summer that you'd be sat in the top 10 at this stage despite Beckford being out injured the entire time and Garner having amassed only 5 goals, how hard would you have laughed?

Our current position is ridiculous considering our lack of goals.

Bearing in mind we've used three different loan goalkeepers this season and our back five cost a grand total of £0 (all five playing in L1 last year) our goals against column is impressive.

I preferred Brighton when they played at the Withdean, had players like Guy Butters and we'd regularly roll them over 3-0 or such like at Deepdale.

I'd take a point on Sat.

Yes it is, defies logic somewhat in a way that only the Championship could allow. I remember commenting on how organised they looked in the season opener against Boro and it seems it was a pretty good indicator for how they'd fare for the remainder. All credit to Grayson, especially given the lack of firepower like you say.

Will always remember those days with Butts, Kuipers and the like fondly. Withdean wasn't fit for purpose but still managed to be associated with some pretty successful seasons thanks to honest, long-serving pros like those two.

Our record at Deepdale is indeed dreadful, which is partly why I'm feeling negative vibes about Saturday. Even though it shouldn't really have any bearing.

I've played at the Withdean. I actually have something to contribute to a Preston thread that isn't bollocks!

Tragically though I was wearing gold boots at the time! I was staying with a mate at uni and hadn't taken any kit when invited to play, I got the cheapest boots available from some sports shop and scored twice as Maths beat some other department there in a uni of sussex intermurial thing.

Decent game that, enjoyed it. Thought Gally was our best player but Wright wasn't far behind. Johnson was better today too. Ref was fucking abysmal though.

On to Forest and Bolton. Can't wait.

Brighton had more of the play but I think the draw was probably fair based on chances created, thought Brighton were a very cynical side but obviously have some ability.

Bailey Wright was supeb at the back and I think Johnson, Browne and Cunningham all did pretty well. Lindegaard was ill so Kirkland had to play, thought he did ok bar one fucking horrendous spill which was luckily flagged for offside.

Forgettable.

Point will do, 0-0 probably not a surprising result either. Was never going to be as straight forward as our last couple of games.

Was out today but asked my mate to check the Preston score for me, he asked why I wanted to know, I explained, he asked again saying he didn't understand, so I explained a 2nd time, he asked me what the fuck is wrong with me and said that I was a fucking idiot.

happy with a point!
