We looked nervous throughout the game and never really got into any sort of stride, Bristol City definitely edged it for me but there wasn't loads in it. Beckford had a great game and Welsh put in a good shift too, King was also very good. Quite a few below par performances from our key players though, you probably have to credit Bristol City for that.

Got to be content with today's results, another game gone and MK haven't gained on us.

Have to say, I gave Beckford lots of stick early on as he missed some unbelievable chances but since coming back from illness he has been superb, one of the best loan signings we've ever made.

Fair play to Bristol, fully deserve the title.

Got that stupid 'Fuck off Swindon Town' song in my head though!

Bit of scrapping on Moor Park, too, apparently.

Anyone see what went on?

A few people got nicked on Deepdale Road before the game as well by the looks of it, not sure what had gone on

Good game of football I thought. King had a good game although I think it was his slice into the air that got City's goal. Johnstone's save from Wilbraham's header onto the bar was absolutely crucial.

All in all, a good day considering MK didn't win, and I won 240 quid on the National after backing the first four horses!!

Very good game I thought with both teams going at it, really even as well so draw was a fair result, on another day that could have easily been 3 or 4 to both teams plenty of good chances. Preston did a great job of keeping Freeman quiet, he wasn't given any room to try and control the game. Jumped on the bus direct to the train station after as I couldn't be arsed with walking  As I went to walk out of the train station through one of the side exits a policeman made me prove I lived in Preston

That should see Preston come up with us so all the better too.

Saw a fair few of the horses head off in that direction plus the video evidence guy with the camera scampered off pretty quickly

Good game today. Draw just about fair but we were the better side and their keeper was class. Was worried we would be outplayed etc beforehand but apart from a spell before half time, we were on top I thought. Beckford always a threat though. Kept garner quiet and the lad who marked joe Bryan had a good game.

Preston look good for 2nd to me so see you next season!

I think it's the Burnley connection, however he isn't universally liked (not that I'm sure it bothers you City fans!)

Yeah I want to see his collision with Flint again, sounded nasty as hell as you could hear the connection where I was sat, didn't get a proper look but considering Garner's body position it could have easily been an elbow or forearm. Good thing Flint doesn't react, Branco Tuesday now Garner today.

Aye, Johnstone is a class act, we've been lucky with our loan keepers. Declan Rudd was top drawer at this level and I think Johnstone is probably an improvement despite being a couple of years younger. Hope we can sign him.

Don't you read pne online?! He's rubbish and a world class keeper is just being wasted on the bench :fl:

PNE will win.

Is that so? Won't ask you for the lottery numbers tonight ;)

It's worth mentioning that if Flint can deal with a UFC, NFL & WWF series of challenges in one game, he can take a little boy like Garner biting his ankles for 90 mins.

Beast!

Flint very nearly set up Robinson at the end, shame he scuffed his shot. Would have been pretty funny to win from a horrendous error like that
