On a side note the stewards at Preston are absolutely appalling. Absolute disgrace to the football club.

Abysmal first half an hour and a terrible last 20 minutes, but in the middle of the game we looked alright. Preston should've had a clear penalty in the first half and our goal should've stood in the second half.
Then Davis committed tactical suicide taking off our best defender of the three which left our defence in an absolute state and we were duly punished for our woeful lack of experience at the back a la Rochdale.
Mark Ellis used to get hounded by Davis for playing the offside trap because 'that's not what we do at Crewe'. Wonder if our Academy centre half pairing will get a bollocking in similar fashion for doing the same?
Grant (are you watching SD?) and Turton are the only two that can be satisfied with their performances today, Tate, Haber and Guthrie not too bad either but the rest were a shambles. Not worth singling anyone out though because it was a collective low today. Sick of the constant attempts to walk the ball into the net as well, this is a key factor as to why we don't score enough goals. The one time we didn't try to walk the ball into the net we actually bloody scored!
Yet another tonking under the stewardship of Dull Davis but that said it was against a future Championship side. He's a very lucky manager though, 91 others would be out of a job if they were thrashed as much as he's been as a manager.

Absolute disgrace. I can take losing, but I can't take being humiliated and embarrassed on a regular basis. I can't take the same players making the same errors week in week out and still get picked. I can't stand our manager patting himself on the back when things go right, but then blaming everyone else when things go wrong. I mean, he questions our defensive mistakes, yet these are the kinds of mistakes these players have been making for weeks and months now. Maybe if you dropped them once or twice Steve, that might spur them into better form!
Preston could have scored 10 today. Missed 3-4 great chances in the first half and should have had a stone wall penalty. And once they got the 3rd goal, they again could have run in more than 5. They were very good, confident on the ball, good movement upfront and in Garner, they have probably the best striker in the league. They really should go up considering MK are bottling it and they have a bit of an advantage over Swindon.
As for us, we'll probably stay up. We'll rely on our home form and scrape over the line like last year and then go through the same shite next season. Yipee. Roll on Tuesday.

I've been to the Barnsley and Coventry games before today and you'd only won both 1-0. And every time I saw your results it'd only been 1 or 2 goals in it.

They'll be a few complaints put it that way from various people.
There were sets of people from both stands shouting abuse at each other and they simply stood there and laughed (the stewards). There was a fan from our stand kicked out for doing a wanker sign back to a preston fan in retaliation (not the only such incident so I'm told either) and the same steward that kicked the person out shook the involved preston fans hand afterwards as if it was a massive joke. I happen to know the person that was kicked out and he is possibly the nicest bloke in the world, he dropped his wallet on the way out and the stewards wouldn't even let his daughter give it him back through the exit gates.
There was a parent close to me that was complaining that their 7 year old child had witnessed abuse and the steward just stood there motionless and seemed to think it was acceptable.

To be fair I wasn't affected so it isn't really my business but I just think it's a shame that we were outplayed by a side who from what I witnessed today will win promotion and yet a negative comment that should be irrelevant has to get mentioned.
Joe Garner is class, definitely in the top 3 players in this division. Be interesting to see how he does in the Championship next season, most likely with Preston, but I can't see him staying if they don't go up.

Why do Carlisle fans dislike Huntington? He's from there isn't he?
Yeah he is from here, but he's hated because when he played for Leeds he kissed the badge repetitively in front of our fans. Always gets the typical boos when he plays against us.

Not been on here all weekend as been hung over since my all dayer for Gold Cup friday 
On to the game. Ill keep it short and sweet.
Daniel Johnson is world class, the lads getting better by the game.
Beckford and Garner were awesome up top together, Beckford could and should have had a hat trick too but his performance was top drawer.
10-1 would not have flatterd us.
To summarise i think we are getting better and more exciting to watch by the game....cue a Peterborough win on Tuesday
