With new signings and players returning from injury there are actually some selection choices today, which is rather exciting. Think McGoldrick and Bishop will make the bench today, so along with Sears/Pitman and Moore we'll actually have some options to change things.
I'd definitely take a draw, expect to lose but it'll be close. 2-1.
Hugill ( ) 89th minute after Lawrence should have finished it off at the other end apparently.
From the radio, Preston certainly deserve no more than a draw based on the two halves, but I'm not sitting comfortable now.
Edit; Yup. FT 1-1. Not nice to lose the 3 points right at the end but sounds about right. Strip away the emotions of the late goal and it's a fair result and a decent point.
Yeah Mills said as much on the radio. Without the blue tinted glasses on though, sounded like a half each and 1-1 @ Deepdale= no complaints. Realistically, it's probably the kind of result we should be aiming for this season as a midtable side. Uninspiring but acceptable.
Fucking shite performance, should be winning these games. Hugill standing in the corner congratulating himself when we should be getting the fucking ball and trying to get a winner has infuriated me. Prick.
Obviously disappointing to concede a late equaliser but a draw is still a decent result. Lawrence is just ridiculous, shame we've got no chance of signing him permanently.
Fucking dogshit performance and result against an abysmal Ipswich team.
Very few players left that game with any credit, improved when we hauled off Gallagher and Robinson who have been gash for the past two games. Horgan has to start at Cardiff.
Being without our first choice fullbacks weakens us massively, Vermijl and Spurr aren't a patch on Baptiste or Cunningham and aren't suited to a back four.
I thought it was a game of two halves today, we didn't play well first half and Ipswich where the better team, second half it was us who looked more likely.
Apart from Mcgeady I thought the rest of our midfield where poor today. Hugill deserved his goal, really put himself about and did well with the little service he had, don't blame him for celebrating his goal, good on the lad.
Today definetly showed us how good Cunningham is if we didn't know already, Spurr's solid but is not a patch on Cunningham who has got to be up there amongst the best LB's in the league. Vermijl was shite, hopefully Browning will improve us.
