i don't remember playing Villa at Deepdale in my lifetime so quite looking forward to this. Villa haven't won any of their last 26 away games so I think we all know what's coming.

0-1.

How many managers got the sack after they played us last season? A fair few wasn't it?

Fancy another one here.

Kodjia to put Villa 1-0 up early in the 2nd half with Callum Robinson equalising in the 90th minute.

Pretty much guarantees you an away win at Deepdale.

We always do teams a favour when they're in desperate need of a win, remember when Sunderland were about to equal the longest run without winning, came here and helped themselves to a 2-0 win.

Well you obviously know if you put us under pressure in the last 10 we will probably fold.

4-3-3 for this one?

Maxwell
Baptiste, Clarke, Wright, Cunningham
Pearson, Welsh, Johnson
McGeady, Hugill, Robinson
I'd expect Gallagher to walk back into the team if he's fit but I don't know who in place of, I also think Makeinok might be more effective as the lone frontman but it would be unfair on Hugill to lose his place. There's also an argument for playing Huntington to mark that big fucker, Gestede although Tom Clarke is no mug in the air.

Well that was fucking brilliant. Every single player was outstanding. Special mentions to Pearson, Baptiste and the centre halfs.

We were fucking superb today, Ben Pearson was unreal.

Aiden McGeady is an absolute God, I could watch him play football all day.

Fair play, PNE. I have one thing to say now...

RDM out. 1 win in 12 games in charge £50-60million later? If that's not sackable form, fuck knows what is.

Better team, better club :lol::lol::lol:

Fair play to Preston. Thought they'd struggle, but doing alright it seems.

I really hope McGeady's injury was just a knock rather than a strain.

Ben Pearson's an interesting looking footballer. Refreshingly ungroomed, in a Paddy McCourt sort of way.

To be fair if they get on a roll then they have enough to beat more or less anyone in the division so yeah, you can see what he means. Definitely a bigger club as well, you can't really argue that.

Shame they've been shit so far really!

Is it? I like Villa, and I like all of their fans on here, but they're an arrogant bunch on social media.

We have some arrogant twats, but I'd say it's a big club thing. It's such a great football club , but some fans think we have entitlement, when we certainly don't. We was a super power before the wars, but look at us now. Just hope we sort out shit out.

Results are obviously the bottom line but as bad as they have been I'd be willing to give RDM a chance to turn it around if I felt we were moving in the right direction. Contrary to that though we appear to be getting worse as the games tick by. It's clear RDM has no idea what his best team is and what formation he should play. 11 games in, that's not good enough. We played the second half with 4 strikers on the pitch yet barely threatened the Preston goal. It smacks of desperation and is reminiscent of the kind of 'tactics' McClaren employed at Boro back in the day.

I'd rather not change the manager so early in but I cannot see how things are going to improve if we don't. I was against his appointment in the first place but came to accept the idea when Clarke was made his assistant. It's turning into a disaster though and won't be long before we stop talking about our chances of making the play-offs and start to focus on staying up. He has to go. Bruce would be the obvious choice to replace him. Rowett would represent too big a risk at this juncture, we need someone with pedigree, regardless of his Blues history.
