Im only level 5, as pointed out above, the lack of pokestops nearby has been holding me back but been on a good walk today, got a load of pokeballs, a Goldeen and hatched two eggs...only to find I lost one of them just as it was about to hatch as my phone crashed as I caught a Clefairy...and the other was a bloody Ratttata...

What does the CP mean on each one?

Each pokemon has a maximum CP too which is dependent on species, height and weight but that seems like something you don't have to worry about until you're at a very high level.

Max CP list - http://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/pokemon-list

HP is how much damage they can take which is why you see so many Snorlaxs defending gyms - they can take an insane amount of damage (Chanseys too).

Does anyone use this site? https://pokevision.com

I started using it a few days ago and it's really good. Pin points the exact location of all the Pokemon that spawn in your area.. Especially useful for when you spot a rare Pokemon that you need, or a uncommon one you need for the candies etc.

So the way to fix the three step bug, according to Niantic, is to remove it completely?

That's gonna drive quite a few people away from the game now, im starting to feel slightly pissed with how they're handling their problems as they aren't doing it very well. And then to top it off they're banning the 3rd party sites, the only genuine way to search for pokemon rather than people hope they get lucky...

They have removed it until they do fix it. I don't get why people are moaning about it, as it's not worked for ages anyway. All they've done is remove the paw prints ffs. They've already said that it's not an easy fix, and they're more concerned about getting the servers right and getting it released worldwide first.

I've got a 604 Oddish right now... according to evolution calculators, that's due to turn into a 930 Gloom and then a 1900ish Vileplume. Fucking hell.

I need to get some Oddish Candy...

You need 101 Magikarps (transfer 100 of them) to get a Gyarados. I've been playing for a week and a bit and I've only got one.

You need to get near the sea mate. I'm guessing you must be near the sea (Sunny California?!) so go and check that out... or, failing that, at least a body of water. There's a small man made lake thing in the city center in Plymouth and that's usually got water pokemon in it.

But yeah, the seafront in Plymouth is a fucking gold mine for all kinds of water Pokemon... Dratini's, too. I don't know who here has ever been to Plymouth, but basically... we have the National Marine Aquarium, and that is THE place to be in this city for Dratini. I was near it the other day and a Dratini popped up on Pokevision so I headed over... however, there is a fucking bridge there that moves to let boats through, and this one fucking prick in a boat HAD to go through at that time, didn't he, meaning that the bridge was out, meaing I missed out on the Dratini. Fucker.

Level 17 now. Heading in to Derby tomorrow, so hope being in a city will bring better luck and finally get me off level 17.

Been seeing some Pokemon more frequenlty lately. Namely Oddish's, Ghastly's, and Horsea's. I'd never even seen a Horsea before this week! Shame I still see just as many Weedle's, Pidgey's, and Rattata's though.

I'm about an hours drive from the sea. Is Pokevision working in England? I think it's been shut down.

You're about two weeks behind with that, unless there's been another case of people walking off cliffs?

Well Derby was rubbish. Got two new ones in Exeggcute and Jynx, but the rest was just Rattata's and Pidgey's ffs. Even sitting in the middle of two lures just brought those two constantly and a Goldeen ffs.

Still level 17, but close to 18 now.

Pokevision was killed off with the latest update, along with most other 3rd party Pokemon Go helper sites. It's a shame because without Pokevision or the steps, it's impossible to pinpoint a pokemons location now.

I've actually seen something saying that two lures in close proximity is actually a bad thing, overall. One lure will bring quite a few Pokemon, some of which will be pretty rare or uncommon... apparently two lures close together will bring a lot more, but they'll pretty much all be common shit like Pidgets, Spearows and Ratattas.
