Sorry, haven't got a fancy title.

OK we got the monkey off our back, and OK it was only Stamford, but I see the game going the same way. Dour for 60 minutes and then we'll nick one and go on and win it.

Pools 1-0 Cheltenham.

By the way, where's that bloke who said Cheltenham were going straight through this league? :animatedf:

Stick with Amond up front on his own and it'll be much of what we've seen already at home this season, dull, dreary, boring, negative and utterly predictable, give him a partner to work off FFS, he gives it his best attempt every game but he is never going to be a lone striker and he looks so ineffective, sacrifice one of your tippy tappy midfielders and start Paynter from the get go, keep playing this counter 451/433 away from home if you must but we can't keep playing and not winning at home this way.

Pressure is really on Hignett, he needs a home win and one pretty quickly.

Cheltenham are a big side,I'd start Oates with Almond, some one a bit more mobile than Paynter.
Don't think I could stomach another home defeat

We're in form at the moment, and allegedly we were brilliant on Tuesday.

That being said, no Kyle Storer could be a massive miss.

As always, I'll take a draw.

Fancy us to get something from this. As Si says we're on form and now Holman's fit again we've got just about a full strength squad for the first time this season.

Playing a team in form will probably suit us at home. Rather than a team in dire form who will sit back and hope for a 0-0. If Cheltenham are going to push forward, it will work to our advantage, so sticking with 4-3-3 might not be the worst idea tomorrow.

Would like to see Deverdics in midfield too. Obviously has a goal in him, likes the ball at his feet. Feath/Woods/Deverdics in midfield. Oates/Amond/Allessandra upfront.

Fancy us to get a win. Hopefully a convincing one.

3-0 Pools, Dev & Amond x 2.

Played well without being spectacular, didn't look like losing at any point today, strong opening 20 minutes which we were well on top then faded for the rest of the half, second half they had a 5 minute spell after kick off and should of levelled but after that we controlled the game, just wish they'd fucking shoot more often instead of trying to tip, tap, swivel, back hell, flick it in, Cheltenham looked poor, probably the weakest team I've seen so far this season.

Deverdics ran the show for me, best performance in a Pools shirt, much welcome and deserved home win, something to build on.

It won't change anytime soon ....Higgy will be going all out for a 0-0 next week at Donny ...if he's succesful in that task then the whole cycle starts again

Expected a tough game today, but Chelts were pretty shit & it was an easy win
Barring a 10"minute spell we were in control all game & should have scored more, but we still fuck about in the box thinking were Barcelona

How many times have we scored nil in the league this season?

I'll give you a clue.

It's very close to nil and we got a point. :ds:

Stats ! .....scoring 2 isn't much good if 'they' score 3 .... and at home 'they' are doing rather well this season .....your asking people to pay money to see 'they' have a good day ....only Cheltenham gave come away pointless and goalless , how bad are them ?

Worse than us thankfully, but the point is we do score. Quite a lot and yes the defence has been bloody awful this season, but I doubt Higgy is going for 0-0 because it doesn't seem like a likely outcome.
