Tough one this, depends which Pools turn up, the poor one or the crap one, but let's see what straws we can find to clutch at. We're at home, no, that doesn't fly. Ryan Taylor's out. No, that neither, Danny Hilton is fit. Our loanees have had another week with the squad, well maybe.Michael Duckworth is fit again, so we'll have an established back four. Hmmm, they leak like a seive.

Got it!! Bingham and Mandaron up front with Grey in the hole. Now all we need to do is get the ball to them.

Actually for no reason at all I'm going for a 2-1 home win.

Apparently Moore was going to play Grey just behind the front 2 at Accy & hopefully have a bit more of an attacking threat, don't know if that'll be the case Saturday.
I think it depends on the weather really. If it's mild as against Orient,we'll be ok.If it's a bit too cold for the players,as it was at Mansfield, certain defeat.

Looking forward to this one. If we click then there will no stopping us - we won 5-1 in our last away league match.

If we show the lethargy we did in the first half against Newport on Tuesday the we will be stuffed.

Taking both scenarios into consideration - it will probably be 0-0.
That would do me.

Just learned we have made 2 signings today - both till Jan 16th.
Jordan Evans - defender - from Fulham and Chris Maguire - forward - from Rotherham.

Both are in our squad for Saturday.

With these new signings I think we will have too much for Hartlepool, predicting a 3-0 OUFC victory.

Few more loan additions for Oxford, hopefully wear Hartlepool down but anyone can beat anyone in this tinpot league

Yeah Oxford had more than one shot,I was just pissed off after the game.
But the stats are crap,we had more than one,Oxford certainly never had nine.

Another game we should have got something from.

Oxford were there for the taking in large parts and the game was over when Magnay went off injured. I knew we'd lose after he left the pitch. The man single handedly holds us together. Again, it's Ronnie's fault that no midfielders were signed in the 3122 signings he made in the summer. Predictably we lost control of midfield for the millionth time this season and Oxford were the better side in the last half hour.

I hate this season to be honest. It's just the same old shit but with a couple of teams who thankfully seem worse than us. The cup is keeping me going but there will be hell on if we lose to Salford.

Just let us finish third bottom and call time on what's been a dismal campaign.

Thought Hartlepool were one of the few teams this season that really scared us, God knows how they didn't score on Saturday. you know things were tough when 90% of the highlights posted by your own club on youtube are all the opposition's chances!

Given that, very happy with the result.
