With our home form this season we should get a point minimum but it's got to end sooner or later. With two away games to come it's a must win really.

Don't care anymore.

After last nights atrocity, it's a guaranteed sub 700 following.

Which means a dominating away win.

Imagine that.

Two sides who don't score many but have decent back lines... Going to be a classic!

He started on Tuesday but through squad rotation as much as anything else, he's not done anything whilst he's been here, although that applies to 99% of the current team this season.
Anyway, Saturday, we'll lose, we won't score, 1-0 Vale.

Trying to motivate myself to go. This is probably the least attractive away fixture of the season, the pies are shit and we can't score, do I really want to spend £100+ on City this weekend? What are the positives? Vale Park is a nice stadium and beers in Manchester before and after the game, can't think of anything else.

Think we've changed catering since our last meeting!

Pity Firthy cos yours is ACE

I'm not saying that, am I?

It's better than yours, put it that way. Given the fact that you never bring enough to have the decent overflow, and you're never going to have to use the lower tier, I can safely say that you'll have a better view of the game at Valley Parade than we will have at Vale Park. It's too fucking shallow. Shite!

Why?

Stick away fans in the stand opposite!

Away fans would have to walk from the main road right round the back of the ground which police believe would be more dangerous than walking through a mine field as Vale fans heavily experienced in guerrilla war lurk from the depths of the Lorne street car park or the back of the railway stand,

Even for Firthy this is delusional

Fuck I hate Bradford. Cas and that lad who posted on TFF but went AWOL for missus reasons after having a kid are sound but God Ted, the rest of them I hope they all die in a big flood made of jam. But instead of Jam it's made of old women.

I'm no good at judging the size of crowds Ted, but I'd say there's about seventeen million of them out there

1-0 half time, haven't be great but should be 3 up after AJ missed an open goal from five yards and somehow two players missed a free header from two yards with the keeper beaten by the cross.

Referee has had a shocker, somehow missing a blatant hand ball as AJ was about to be put clean through and an even more blatant one a minute later.

Bradford's defence are struggling with AJs movement but we've not been great without the ball and aren't dealing with the hoofball particularly well aerially.

Back home. Must be about the 8th time in 5 years we've failed to beat ten men so not a new problem but an infuriating one none the less.

Great start to go 1-0 up (AJ won't score we were told at the start!)

This meant Bradford had to come out and we then exposed them defensively but failed to capitalise with AJ missing a sitter after the keeper parries JJs strike, then a great cross takes out the keeper and the defence but neither AJ or Dodds could connect.

Second half were in control when inexplicably the Bradford lad goes right through the back of Granty, the red was out before Grant hit the deck.

Either way we seemed comfortable, Marshall was having a mare but managed to get a cross and like last week we give a ten foot high striker a free header.

Once it was 1-1 bar a quick scare when McGivern slipped and Alnwick had to be alert it was a case of Bradford parking the bus and having short strikers we had nothing to hit up top, a clever manager would of thrown Inniss on up top last ten minutes to give us a target.

On the plus side two deals have been done for a striker and a replacement winger whilst Andoh is out (assume it's Banton) so hopefully that will give us more going forward because we are crying out for someone to partner AJ.

Vale are one of these teams who are shocking at Valley Parade in terms of time wasting and killing a game so it's nice to give them a bit back. A point when you concede in 2 mins and have a man sent off at a team who've only lost once at home all year is a decent result. 4 points off Vale this year will do me as it's usually been zero over last few years.

Page made some weird subs! Brown and Daniel were hardly positive moves.

I'd have thrown Inniss up top for ten minutes at the end to win the balls into the box.

I'd have started Inniss at the back though, we've played Bradford for years now and they have done the same thing under Parkinson every time with long balls, get it in the box and have a load of six foot plus players looking to win the aerial battle, we won't play a less footballing side this season and it works for them so it's not like Page didn't know what to expect and we missed that height at the back for me.
