A final day dead rubber after looking like a potentially nervous relegation threatening match and one hopefully we can enjoy. Since the horror run of six defeats Vale are now unbeaten in four and go into the game positive against a Fleetwood side that have struggled in recent games.

Vale will wear and reveal their new 15-16 home strip which will probably be the most interesting issue of the day compared to the game but I'd like to see one of the youngsters at least play. Enoch Andoh played for Ghana U23s midweek so I'd like him to feature and see what he's all about.

As for the game you never know in dead rubbers, we've hammered Morecambe 7-2 and Oxford 3-0 in recent seasons so a repeat of one of those would be nice.

2-0 Pope x 2 in what could be his farewell.

Really hating this 12:15pm kick off. Feels totally wrong getting ready for a home match at 11am on a Sunday morning

I suppose I should be grateful we are at home. Feel sorry for the likes of Preston having to travel to Colchester.

At least the traffic for me was dead so cruised here from home :)

Strange game, we've been fairly on top yet are 2 down from two pieces of poor defending.

Fittingly a shit finish to a shit season. Wouldn't shed a tear if the entire squad was released in the summer.

Shouldn't have lost that but sums up the problems we've been having defensively.

According to Page the reason we lost was that it was a game to far for our players. Hopefully it's a defeat to far for him and he gets sacked, but the way he talked in his interview it sounds as though he expects to still be in charge.

A few looked on the beach but we had enough of the game and enough crosses in that we should of won but two sloppy goals in Fleetwoods only forays into our box first half cost us.

Seems as though page is advocating a 45 game season as it was one game too many.

Pity it's 46 really isn't it mate.

Everyone plays the same amount.

Odds on for the sack imo.

He needs to go. Glover and Grew also need to follow. How the fuck the ginger prick Glover has got anywhere near this fucking club again I do not know. Absolute whopper. Glover was cleaning fucking windows 12 months ago for fucks sake!

Get rid, Smurf!

We also need a clear out of the deadwood players we have. Too many players stealing a wage.

I think Page will stay to be honest. If he does I hope we get rid of the back room and give him a mentor ie experienced coach alongside him.

Player wise Oakey, Brown, Pope, Neal, Marshall, Moore and Veseli are worth keeping, get Inniss on loan and try and get Coulibaly. Other than that the rest can go.

If Page stays then all of his mates get new 2 year contracts.

If he stays and we start badly then it could turn very nasty.

There was a stat that if you do a table from when Page took over we finish 10th which considering the 1 win in 11 is remarkable! I'd say he deserves a chance to build his own team and see how it goes but he's shown inexperience at times hence I'd debate we need an experienced number 2.
