Big game, as they all are now.

Vale have the play-offs on their radar once again as one of a clutch of sides aiming to find the consistency needed to cement themselves in the top 6.

Town will need to keep the points tally ticking over to try and prevent Preston tightening their grip on second place.

Assuming Preston beat Crewe which i think they will, this certainly becomes a must not lose game at the very least if we're serious about automatics.

Can see us sticking with the side that beat County with Swift in behind Williams. Id still be tempted to play Obika but don't think we will. I'd also put Kasim in for Gladwin, again though can see the latter starting.

Foderingham

Branco
Thompson
Turnbull

Byrne
Gladwin
Stephens
Luongo
Toffolo

Swift

Williams

With us being 2 points from 6th and the way we bottle it when we get a sniff of the playoffs i can only see us losing 2-1:(

Biggest game of the season for us and our form suggests we can get the result but as said we seem to bottle it a lot.

Got a sneaky feeling we will win 2-1, no idea why. It's the least attractive fixture of the season (other than Swindon away) so I've buggered off on holiday and will miss it as didn't expect to be where we are. The positive being that the last six or seven home games I've missed we've won!

Really, this is less attractive than Crawley and Fleetwood?

Swindon are the most boring club in the world

Even the name Swindon is dull

fuck me

Anyway no N'Guessan or Ranger so two goals chalked off the scoreboard already

The signing we'll make this week will be crucial

We have played them 1000s times in the past 10-15 years, of late put in horror shows against them, it's one of those boring fixtures hence when picking a game to miss to take the missus and baby on holiday it was an easy choice!

A load of town fans are going to Vale and are going to turn it into a confetti and streamer appreciating day for the team. They have raised £350 and brought a load of streamers, balloons and confetti to hand out. Could well be near on a thousand town fans making the journey, Ciren reds are running a 18 seater mini bus and a couple of cars, and are planning a party, Mike behave yourself!. Should be a great day out . Going for a close town win.

I hate Swindon. Especially after that stunt a few years back where them and Hartlepool played out a draw to screw us over for the play offs. I will never forgive them for it.

I can't wait to see Hartlepool drop out of the Football League.

Also, their old badge was fucking stupid. Although, I've just looked at their new one and it has a fucking steam train on it. Almost as stupid as the old one.

Would take a draw here but they will probably beat us 5-1.

Swindon will win by a clear 4 or 5 goals, as they always do.

That was 2004 I think, which makes it more than half my lifetime ago.

Probably time to start getting over that I would've thought!

I hate Port Vale cos after going for a curry after a 2-0 win up there some c*** broke into my car, smashing the passenger side window.

Fucking cold drive home, that!

Much prefer Vale to Stoke so the fact they dislike us so much is upsetting.

Send us a formal written apology signed with the blood of Adam Boyd, Rhys Evans and Sammy Igoe for playing out a draw against bastard Hartlepool in 2004 and preventing us from reaching the Play Offs on goal diff and we'll consider restoring diplomatic ties

I hate the arsehole of steward at Rushden that day who'd told us Swindon had scored a late goal!

As opposed to your badge which has 2 owls, a scythe and a waffle?

Welcome Steve. I think you will be sadly disappointed mate!

I have looked again at the Vale Badge, I have no idea if they are Owls or not, did Stevie Wonder design your badge?
