Heading down to Fratton Park for this.Tough game for us especially with our awful record down there as well as the fact we are having trouble scoring. At least we look solid at the back. I reckon we will get through in extra time.

I think we'll have too much for them, even with our poor goalscoring. We aren't letting Championship teams have much of a sniff at our goal, so not sure how a League 2 team will cope.

Guessing the team will be:
Al Habsi
Gunter Hector McShane Taylor
Tshibola Fernandez Quinn
Blackman Cox Stacey
Though could be anything really. Pretty confident that will be the back 5 at least.

Guessing we'll have 2000+ fans down after selling our initial 1450 than the 300 afterwards.

A game we should have won far more easily than we did. Made difficult thanks in part to Al-Habsi gifting Pompey a goal. As usual created a decent amount of chances but when you have average players like Cox up front you are going to struggle to score goals. Hopefully we will bring in a striker before the transfer window closes. Good to see McCleary back in the side and getting on the scoresheet.

Should also do the side some confidence to come from behind to win a game even if it was against a league 2 side. At least we also finally got a home tie in a cup competition. Fancy our chances against Everton which it is more likely to be or Barnsley.

18000+ attendance with over 2000 away fans is very good for a Tuesday night second round league cup game between a League Two and a Championship side:2thumb:

the Fa investigating an incident involving Nick Blackman. Sounds like a home fan/fans shouted racist abuse at him.

Disgraceful, some people need to grow up.

Somehow managed to miss the first ten minutes even though I live a stones throw away from the ground. Someone getting a round in was worth it, though!

Ended up getting to Portsmouth at 20 past 7. Bro parked in Ascot Road which was about 10-15 minute walk.
