Nolan will likely freshen things up, Brisley and Gnanduillet will 100% start in place of Essam and Palmer. Jerome Binnon-Williams may also start ar left back.

Wonder if we can scrap another lucky win, like we did Boxing Day.

I would line up:

Simpson
McAnuff.......Jahraldo-Martin
Payne - Pritchard
Atangana
Shaw - Brisley - Baudry - Hunt
Cisak

Change to a 4-5-1/ 4-3-3. Expect a very tough Portsmouth challenge and therefore I'd be looking to tighten up and perhaps hit them on the counter. I'd bring in Hunt for Clohessy as from what I gather he's a more defensive full back. Pritchard is sort of in by default with James out and Nolan not fit enough to start. Would keep Shaw in the team, but then I know nothing about Binnon-Williams anyway.

Be interesting to see what Nolan rolls with.

You seem to be our bogey team so you'll jam a win and Atangana will score a 30-yard screamer or something.

Imagine Bennett and Roberts will go back into the eleven, I think with the addition of Smith we'll actually convert some of our chances and win 2-0.

We tried to sign Smith during the window as well. The Swindon owner said a club with foreign owners mucked him around at one point durin the transfer window, seeing as only ourselves and Sheffield United are the only bottom tier clubs with foreign owners, I'm pretty sure it was us.......

Rumours going round saying that Atangana isn't playing due to some contractual reasons with his transfer, but Nolan has confirmed nothing in his interview.

As long as Brisley and Gnanduillet start I'm not too fussed, Essam is now bordering being one of those awful lower league clogger defenders.

We may end up fielding a whole new back 4 again.

Can't see anything other than a loss here for us.

We've beaten Portsmouth in 5 of our last 6 meetings going back to 1996.

Some talk on our forum about Atangana not playing too but just from what people have seen on yours, we definitely owe you for the Boxing day game. Cook has said Webster is out for tomorrow which will see a return for Burgess, not really a loss or a gain as all 3 of our CBs are more than capable.

Your definitely one of our bogey teams, that 1-4 Fa cup game will never be forgotten.

Please don't remind me of THAT FA Cup game. Still the most humiliating result during my Pompey supporting life!

Aldershot for me. The first time we've ever lost to non-league opposition in a proud 117 odd year history.

To rub salt in the wounds Awford made Ricky Holmes the scapegoat and shipped him off to Northampton. Talk about biting you on the arse!

Think we'll scrape a 2-1 win tomorrow.

Our worst performance of the season, all we did was pass the ball sideways. The rare times we actually did put the ball in the box Orient looked abit nervy. Orient should have scored 5 or 6 today.

Concerned by our recent form but not time to panic just yet.

I thought we was excellent, that was the best we've played this season by a country mile, we defended well, created chances and should've killed the game off much much earlier. We was left hanging on for the final fifteen minutes but we did enough to get over the line.

To actually walk out of game and say that everything about us today was excellent is something that hasn't been done this season, due to Hendons tactics. Also Connor Essam and Ollie Palmer didn't play and we looked like a better team.

In Nolans 4 games there has already been signs of huge improvement, but its early days still.

Portsmouth kept the ball well enough, but didn't threaten really I thought until the final fifteen minutes when they did throw everything forward.

That Paul Cook comes across as a right c*** in his interviews.

He's been like it all season when talking to the local radio stations, hope he apologises and we can all move on.
