Go back to what we had, Cup Winners Cup was a great competition.
If it was a straight knockout cup competition I don't see why not either, but if they make it into another league format then the whole thing will be bloated and dull as dishwater or a Johnnytodd thread.

Go back to what we had, Cup Winners Cup was a great competition.

Problem with the Cup winners cup is that the winner has more than likely already qualified for the Champions league or Europa League. The runner up may well have done the same so what do you do then? Give it to a team losing in the semi final? It's a 'cup winners' cup but with more lucrative money available in the Champions League, it just wouldn't get off the ground.

Get rid of the Champions League as it is, absolute joke that the 3rd and 4th best teams in a league qualify, that's mediocrity.
