see the Tv rights could increase to a ridiculous 4.4 billion in the next deal.............it has surprised me as I expected bubble to have burst and seen Sky/Bt both hit the financial crapper as I still don't know how either affords it.
but looks like Eurosport and some other channel (middle east one I think) are involved so it could be spread over 4 channels.
I thought this non-monopoly was for our benefit when it seems its just helped the PL whereas now you'd need 3-4 subscriptions to get what you got for one.
saying that I still do not know how BT/sky cover it, BT seem to give theirs free to anyone with them and Sky must have had a drop in subscriptions with the rising costs.
but fair play the Prem League, the gap is going to be ridiculously enormous.....hopefully maybe some more drifts down, even their wage budgets won't need that much
