Do keep us updated on this.
I think I can safely speak on behalf of the entire nation, my hand proudly clutching my left breast, to wish them all the very best for their forthcoming tour of Uhmerca. Furthermore, many, who are left-handed, will clutch their right breast or - if ambidextrous - may clutch either, or indeed both, breasts as emotion makes our lips quiver in excitement. (OK. If you really are ambidextrous, yes you can clutch both breasts simultaneously or alternately.)

God speed Louis! God speed Rooney! And the others! You mighty red weevils! You remain, for ever, the pride of Dacca, Lusaka and Nanjing! Go super red boys! Go go go!

Meanwhile Portsmouth have their second pre-season friendly against Gosport Borough Saturday, and Amesbury Town are away at Stockbridge tonight.

Check Out the Fixture and TIme Of This Tour.

I'm sure we can all appreciate this invaluable information.

Also, sources tell me that Rooney has been spotted taking a break from his strict pre-season diet with a team bonding trip to dunkin' donuts with the lads.

Did you know only 0.00023% of Man Utd fans can actually spot out the city of Manchester on a map? Similarly did you know 87.437% of Man Utd supporters still think David Beckham captains the club?

I think Manchester must be somewhere in Turkey

It's a bit like British Airways having "Official Partner of Rapid Vienna" painted in ten foot high letters on the sides of their planes.

Pre-season chat.

Arsenal have just won a friendly 4-0 against Singapore Select XI, Akpom x3, Wilshere x1 (pen).

Cech to still make his first appearance, he looks happy to be truly adored by his new fan base. He deserves it.

One of Akpom's goals was a pen too, stop trying to deceive the public!

First team won their first game 4-1 away at MLS side Philadelphia Union last night. The MLS is mid-season currently so the opposition were match fit. Turned out to be straightforward and one-sided though. King, Wilson, Atsu, Rantie with the goals.

Our U21 team recently drew 1-1 with Arsenal which we're quite chuffed with, they then won 7-0 last night in a local game. Should have been double figures though.

Gonna win the league.

I'm not sure if anybody is too interested, but some decent teams are playing a couple of friendlies here in Australia. I'll watch the rest on tv, but I have tickets to see Brisbane vs Liverpool with my family who all support anybody but Liverpool but bought tickets on a whim since they thought they might see Sterling, Gerrard, Balotelli or other big names like them when they were selling tickets last year. I really don't care and see no major difference in the teams then and now, but I get the feeling my parents are a bit annoyed they've never heard of 5/6 players announced for the tour.

Clearly handy preparation for entertaining the likes of Man City, Chelsea and ummm Bournemouth at Carrow Road.

We've played the Thai All-Stars in the "True SUPER Trophy" or something like that. We won 4-0. Markovic, Sakho, Lallana, Origi.

Sakho's and Origi's goals sort of don't count as they were from corners, and no one in Thai All-Stars even jumped for either goal. Very weird to see. Markovic and Lallana took their goals well though.

For the first half we played a diamond, for the second we played 4-3-3.

At work, so not able to watch it. I think we'll be fine if we're playing the diamond.

Watching Liverpool against Brisbane Roar and Ings and Milner not looking like great signings. Gomez does though, especially considering his age and the fact that he's playing out of position.

I think Milner is a great signing for Liverpool. A sensible one at least. With Gerrard leaving they had little in the way of Premier League experience in the middle of the park, Lucas aside who's best years are long past. When they settle to a line-up that best suits the players, and begin to gel over the space of a few months he'll shine. He was a good player at City, and that's without regular game time.

Ings on the other hand is a complete waste of money, IF Liverpool are actually going to sign Benteke then Ings will maybe get a game or two against lower league teams in the League Cup and possibly against backwoods Euro teams.

Would be interested to see what Liverpool fans think their favoured front line is? (if everyone was match fit, and Benteke is signed)

Sakho looked decent tonight with Skrtel by his side. He was my top pick from what I saw and looked more than comfortable when any ball came to him. Brisbane really shouldn't have been allowed to score, but the number of people in red at a 50,000 seat stadium tonight made me feel a little disgusted so I was cheering and shouting at every opportunity for the home team, which I would never naturally do. I never really noticed any other Liverpool players. Devante Clut had a trademark shot from distance that went not too far over, but that's as excited as I got.

Our front line would be Benteke + Sturridge. But Sturridge won't be fit until 3 months after the season starts.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
MCFC just beat MCFC with a late Nasri goal.

Neither Sterling or Delph even made the bench. Everyone was right, they have both effectively retired.
