No CMS in the Luton lineup and several trialist strikers that Still said he wouldn't have in these games unless needed. Makes CMS look less likely?

Not sure, there's a couple of people on twitter now claiming he's sat in the director's box watching with the rest of the players not involved. Fingers crossed...

Half time at Woking and we're 4-0 up, Ollie Palmer, Jay Simpson x2 and Scott Kashket with the goals. Can't think of a previous match that's had two Antiguan internationals face each other....

Massive.

Our YT are drawing 1-1 at Basford. Unless Fletcher and Connor Green count as senior pros then it's all YT. Glad I didn't go.

Beat Brentford 2-1 at home. Wasn't their first team but still plenty strong, including their new £1 million+ striker.

Also simultaneously beat Hornchurch 2-0 away. Some first teamers coming back from injury involved in that game, including Tyler and Okuonghae who played 90 minutes I believe, as well as Ryan Hall who got a goal and assist in 60 mins. All good signs as all of our nagging injury issues start to clear up.

We beat Preston 4-3 at home with the referee seemingly forgetting that it was just a friendly. 2 penalties for us and McQueen got sent off for a high boot - bit harsh for a friendly I thought but oh well. Good result for us especially with it being against Preston, one for the fans certainly.

Beat Preston 4-3 tonight.

Some good goals but some absolutely shocking blunders which lead to goals for Preston. Oh and our new signing from spurs Alexander McQueen managed to get a red card in a friendly (first I've ever seen in preseason). Good game though.

Preston were without some key players including Garner, Beckford, Gallagher.

Michael Raynes a footballer, not too sure about that one. Troy is leaps and bounds ahead of him in every way possible and should definitely start ahead of him despite the sporadic knee problems.

Yeah, thought it was an enjoyable game considering it was a friendly.

Defence looked weak at times, but the midfield and attack were solid throughout and Ibehre won almost everything that came his way. Was surprised to see McQueen get sent off, it would've been a clear red card in a competitive game.

Kennedy's goal was great, and Rigg did well to earn the pen for the 4th.

Couldn't care less about the red card, getting sent off in a friendly can only be put down to having good banter as far as I'm concerned.

Also get the feeling that Kennedy, Joyce and Hery as a midfield could be a great balance of defence and attack. Joyce seems to have impressed almost everybody more than they expected. One of these would inevitably have been out of the team had Dempsey stayed so it's good to have them all starting.

Tbf Raynes had an excellent game aside from that moment. He was good at Bradford on Saturday.

He seems to want to play the ball out from the back which is good, but in some situations please just hoof it clear. The incident which lead to their second goal, he should have just put it out of play instead of farting about trying to be Sergio Ramos.

Beat Coventry 1-0 tonight in our new look 3-5-2 formation. Leon Legge with a header from a Berry corner. Coventry were bright but I think will struggle again this season as they don't have anyone to put the ball in the net.

For us, Keith Keane made his debut with Barry Corr and Jordan Slew looking really good again. Peterborough away on Sat and then it's down the business on the 8th.

Still can't get over how risky it is to play Peterborough in a friendly. Got to be the first meeting between you two in about a decade hasn't it? Bound to bring the moron element out regardless of the cause underlying the fixture.

In a hastily arranged friendly our reserve/development team won 4-0 at Thame tonight.
Patrick Hoban (2), Callum O Dowda and Sam Humphreys on on the mark.

Still doesn't come close to Troy for me. Only remember one mistake from Troy last season - when he let the ball under his foot, can't remember who against - and Raynes has already beaten that tonight. Troy, Atkinson and Grainger as the back three would do.

On a side note, Miller looks a quality signing. 2 goals already and some great performances alongside them.

I am very surprised but it is in memory of Chris Turner so let's hope it passes without any problems on and off the pitch. It's for a good cause at the end of the day but it's likely to attract the grandad hooligans.

Funny that. if you saw the video where the new signings introduced themselves, Raynes simply stood up, said 'I'm Michael Raynes, I'm from Manchester, I kick it and head it' and then sat back down to some laughter.

Played twice at the Abbey last season. He lost 5-1 and 4-0. Awful defender.

Oh and finally beat Preston, even if only in a friendly. Don't forget to message Sergei to let him know when you update your predictions in the league table prediction thread.

We're gonna piss this tinpot division.

I thought Raynes played alright, but there were a couple times where he looked a bit dodgy (including the mistake leading to their 2nd goal).

Agree that Miller looks a solid signing, looked decent at wing back and centre back tonight.

Hugill is a bit of a twat, too.
