First one announced for us - Macc Town (a) on 18/7/15.

For any hikers, bikers or dog-walkers reading this, torrential rain is now guaranteed in East Cheshire that day...

We've got a rumoured game with Hearts at our neighbours non-league ground. Would be a bit of a surprise that.

Got a couple already announced against 2 usual opponents, Kidsgrove and Nantwich. So far, so standard.

We have a European cup winning team at home. Who that is God knows. Could be forest or villa as much as it could be a fancy European team.

Dare say we will play Newcastle Town, probably Nantwich. Won't get our usual game against FA Cup first rounders Norton after folding though :(

As for tours we have done Seattle and Vancouver, Ireland twice and Devon the last four years so getting gradually shitter each year!

Hopefully Stuart McCall's Rangers come down to swell the clubs coffers.

Excitement builds (?) as a second friendly is announced, this one being at a very dull modern stadium on the outskirts of a historic city. Unfortunately its Chester rather than SV Hamburg...

Shame Norton have folded. Would like us to have a pre-season friendly with Stockport due to locality.

I expect us to announce friendlies with Leek and Macc Town at some point, maybe Chester again too, Tranmere also a possibility due to their newly non league status.

Doubt Wasps will let us have a home game, but were playing Luton away.

Bottesford Town and Winterton Rangers away i expect.

Possible Home ones? Don't invite Celtic along to keep the Irish Iron happy, we don't want the Town Centre Demolished, was in Lincoln when they played there.

we are supposed to be going up to Scotland training at some facilities in Stirling and taking on both the Dundee sides amongst a few others, sounds decent.

Leicestershire, not far from where I live actually. Might pop down, strange though as they are below even the level of say Quorn I believe who you play a lot.

I wouldn't be suprised if we don't have a home pre season game, as we host Northern Ireland vs Qatar at the end of the month, which will apparently fund our pitch being re laid, but doubt it will be ready much before the start of the season. A game vs Hearts at a local non league ground (Nantwich) has been muted though.

That's a shame, I was hoping to listen to it.

Our schedule has been released. 7 games all away. Congleton, Alsager, Newcastle Town, Nantwich Town, Kidsgrove, Altrincham and Kirby Muxloe. Also got 4 more games against more senior teams but they'll likely be behind closed doors. As already mentioned, the international friendly between Qatar and Northern Ireland at Gresty Road is paying for our pitch to be relaid, but it does mean our pitch won't be ready until not long before the season starts.

Suits me I prefer the local non league away games and I always go the home friendlies and immediately regret that I did.

Our first Friendly has been announced - and bizarrely, we're playing two teams in one game..

We've got Wolves and Birmingham confirmed at home plus one against an Ex European cup winner, that's Benfica as its been a poorly kept secret ! One other home friendly to be announced, its usually at home against the sheep but think they getting a bit twitchy as we are only a division behind them. Away wise we usually play locally at Ilkeston, Rocester, Hednesford, etc but not sure if that will stay the same with JFH at the helm.
