We beat Frickley 2-0 last night with Nathan Tyson scoring both goals. We also had Durrell Berry on trial and he played the second half.

Our game at Tonbridge on Saturday is now going to be a day of remembrance for young 24 year old Junior Dian who was playing for Tonbridge on Tuesday when he sadly collapsed and died.
As yet we don;t know the cause.
So sad.
Makes you realise how unimportant this game we all love really is.
RIP Junior.

Had a handful of trialists on show. Couilbaly scored a screamer but was clearly trying too hard. Had a keeper called Sacha Studer in net for the full 90, did some bizarre things. I seriously doubt we'll sign him. Had Bakayogo at LB who played the first half and some random LB in the 2nd half(who our media guys are making out to be some in demand hotshot). Wonder who that might be?

Alsager tomorrow, same format as Congleton by the looks of it, seniors play 1 half, reserves/youth team play the other.

Play a 'strong' West Ham side today, where Zakuani, Bostwick, Collison, Alnwick amongst others are supposed to feature too. Remains to be seen how 'strong' West Ham's side will be.

Mendez-Laing played 45 minutes on trial and managed to miss two sitters in the space of one attack. Can't wait until we sign him.

Rubén Lameiras on trial (former Spurs winger) looked decent but our other trialist Roussel Ngankam was poor.

Sounds like Osadebe made an impression again. I've heard him described as a similar style of player to Linganzi, which is definitely something we need, just without the injury record Amine had. I know it's only been Folkestone and Tonbridge but he sounds promising so far.
