Some clubs seem to be starting to announce them so thought i'd get the ball rolling.

This is what we have lined up so far, imagine still 2/3 to come - think one will be at home to Sheff u as part of the deal for their U23's to play here.

Wednesday 14th July - Handsworth Parramore v Chesterfield X11 - 7.30pm

Saturday 17th July - Alfreton Town v Chesterfield - 3pm

Wednesday 21st July - Matlock Town v Chesterfield - 7.30pm

Tuesday 27th July - Chesterfield v Bradford City - 7.30pm

Saturday 7th August - Tamworth v Chesterfield - 3pm

27 July - Boston United (A)

14 August - Solihull Moors (A)

Weird to be playing a team from the same league. Relations with Ardley clearly aren’t so bad.

What are the odds of you playing Solihull 1st league game? :)

Ha, we’ve said we’ll change who it is if we play them early on and find a different National League team. Suspect lots will do it as all of the other leagues have started by then so it’s the only way to get a game that Saturday.

It'll be nice to face a side that actually play in Chester, unlike Chester FC.

Great marketing and exposure. Perhaps not ideal preparation for a National League season, mind.

We've prepared for the season ahead by getting beaten by a local amateur side before now. I'll take this over that any day, even if I can't go.

Not a dickie-bird from the Rec, no retained or released list, no arranged friendlies, nothing. Possibly they have all been abducted by aliens.

Also, we will probably need a few games beforehand because their season is underway.

Beats going to Cefn Druids or Lex XI (although In sure we will still play them at some point)

Another mention. Counted one about Rutherford in the transfer thread yesterday as well. Not to menton your clubs offical account just before your biggest game in years the other week.

Easy game, don't even have to go fishing for them. :bye:

It won’t be a proper pre-season unless we go life and death with a village side like Gresford.

Southampton B and Bournemouth XI, it’s depressing we’ve fallen so far that it’s not even their 1st teams

We have a pretty good list with both our senior local sides visiting after their respective promotions which is perhaps a reflection of us being NL again this season, club making noise about attendance restrictions although still lots can change between now and then:
13th July - MK Dons (H)
16th July - Norwich City (H)
20th July - Bishop Stortford (A)
26th July - Chelmsford City (A)
3rd Aug - Peterborough (H)
7th Aug - Alfreton (H)

Not too sure our usual four team tournament with Inter Milan, Ajax and Barcelona is going ahead this year. Haven't seen anything about it yet.

First friendly, 5-0 spanking dished out to the mighty Atherton LR.

We're gonna piss this tin pot league.

Which league are we in again? Shitting he'll it's a bad feeling seeing a score like that when I've played in a side that beat Atherton LR 7-1 in the league before.
