I'm a bit confused about the Bury situation- are there now TWO Burys?
Which leagues are the respective clubs now playing in?
Which is the legit one?
Which one are most of the fans backing?
Is Gigg Lane an option for either cliub?
Original Bury exist only at companies house, no team, no league no hope and still owned by grizzly wankpuffin.
Bury AFC setup by the fans for the fans, playing at Radcliff's Nueven stadium, over 1000 CBS members paying £60 per year (a lot pay more through voluntary donation at sign up) sold over 1500 shirts and selling out very limited tickets in around 5 mins.
Gigg we hope to recapture in the next few years, or it will be a housing estate.

two clubs should be familiar to yourself given you’ve supported two different ones:bdick:

Won 5-1 at Morpeth, Liam Noble scoring for them, obviously. Mainly trialists playing so not a bad run out against a club on the up.

I’d never heard of any of them trialists, few of them been on an Eastern European tour judging by their previous clubs.

Luke Williams surviving 30 minutes and not having his leg fall off is progress too!

Who were the trialists?

Who were the trialists?

Daniel Boateng full back, ex Arsenal youth, raft of European clubs recently, Edwin Mensah, not sure on that one, Scott McLean ex Kilmarnock recently lower Scottish league and Jordan Mustoe, full back last seen playing in Oman.

Lost 3-1 at Herne Bay. Not looking good from those there
We lost 2-1. Either Herne Bay are suddenly a strong side, or it’s a meaningless warm up. Guess we’ll find out when we meet in a couple of weeks.

2-1 win at Guiseley for us. Not bad considering there were several youngsters and trialists involved. Should keep the doubters quiet after a dodgy result on Tuesday.

We ended up winning 2-1 versus a Salford City XI (basically their youth team I think) sounded like a competitive game broken up into three 40 minute sections with the majority of players getting 60 minutes.

Drew with Blyth 2-2, same mix of players and trialists from yesterday, missed a penna late on as well.

Alfreton 1-2 Notts County

Good run out for both sides.
Notts far from impressive in the first half. Hope thats their second string side for their sake. Plenty of postives to take.

It was - started without five or six of our best players. Albeit I’ve been in this game long enough not to give any relevance to results or performances in pre-season!

Lost 1-0 at Maidstone, clear to see that unless we learn how to defend in the shape the manager wants we won’t be troubling the top 7. Depends how bad everyone else is I guess.

Barnet lost 0-2 at Hitchin. A total of 10 trialists played across both halves. Not a good performance, a bizarre 4-3-1-2 formation seemed to leave most of the players confused.

Wealdstone beat Havant 3-1, with Danny Parish scoring his sixth in pre-season , after a three division step up he’s made.

We beat Curzon 2-0 playing 343 rather than the 3412 we’ve previously played in friendlies.

Goals from Reid and Thomas and If others had put their chances away it would be a thrashing.

Kitching, who’d been overshadowed by Jennings in pre-season before today, looked really dangerous down the left and Rooney controlled the game well.

You seen any of the games yet?

Tried for a Morpeth ticket but they went in about 2 minutes.

Watched the Blyth game today, never a fan of friendlies but it was something to watch, like the look of Ofosu and MacDonald, Ferguson looks lively too, need a similar player on the opposite side cos Donaldson ain't a defender, Oates was like watching the Oates of 5 years ago, runs for days, can't score.

A mix of likely starters and some who should be pushing. We don't really have a second string, all are expected to challenge.
Worried about our lack of dynamism in midfield, Sam, Sloth and Rodriguess haven't looked game changers, Knowles looked lively and on today's showing isn't number 4 striker making up the numbers.

Thought Alfreton looked fit and organised but not very threatening.

Do wonder about these signings. Would have been more comfortable with proven players. Think I’ve been scarred by 2015, Jenner and Sprockel

We simply can’t go into the season with Donaldson at right back.

We’re going to be weak up front this season you’d think. Relying on Bloomfield to come up trumps. Crawley fans seemed to like him when he was on loan there. Let’s see but too many holes in the squad as it stands.

Yeah. Thats us in a nutshell. We are lacking a cutting edge. Thought Dion Kelly Evans stood out for you.
