All of ours will be away, as will probably our first two or three games of the season, as we're putting in a new pitch and new, upgraded drainage and irrigation systems.

I think I read we have Boston away, which is as normal. No doubt Gainsborough Trinity as well, who are managed by one of our Academy coaches and will take some of our young players on loan.

We'll have the yearly Lincolnshire Senior Cup pre-season tournament in there.

We have our usual smattering of local non league teams.
Newcastle and Leicester at home are the two stand out fixtures.

It depends on Covid travel. If they can travel to Spain then they'll have a training camp in Spain and will apparently play Plymouth over there.

We have an alternative pre-season plan if we can't travel safely but haven't a clue what that entails.

We haven't released season ticket details yet either.

Our friends at Portsmouth are making a trip back to the Kenny for a pre season game. Perfect test a couple of weeks from the start of the season.

Not sure we'll learn much from playing TBC 5 times.

You're doing well, at least you know when yours are being played and the opponents for 2.

We don't know anything at the moment, not even season ticket prices! Hopefully the internal takeover will be announced on Monday and we start getting announcements being made.

Playing Peterborough twice on July 27th in behind closed doors games. Kick off times at 5.45pm and 8pm with them looking at streaming the games. It means the whole squad including 1st year pros etc will get a game.

Bobbin what’s the story about you not playing the Wings for the first time in about 35 years? I remember those games a long time back.

My dad used to organise all the officials for the pre-seasons games at Park View from the Bexleyheath and Welling Referees Association who used to meet next door in the cricket club. Can’t remember if he ran the middle or line in the Charlton games, but he did a lot of the pre-seasons. (Pretty sure I ran the line at a couple of the pre-seasons too).

Lost 1-0 to Reading in our first game back.

It was a really youthful side with a number of first team squad not involved - hopefully not down to injuries. Had enough of them last season for a lifetime.
